After BMW recently secured the rights to the name R12, they are now protecting the name Roctane.<\/p>\n

Not much is known about the Roctane, only that the name will be used for a motorcycle. Unlike the R12, which will clearly be a little sister to the R18, it is not yet possible to say in which segment the Roctane will be located.<\/p>\n

It is quite possible that the Roctane will be identical to the future R12. However, it should not be forgotten that BMW already presented the concept of the R18\/2 in 2019, a low-slung and partially fairing version of the R18. In the meantime, the R18 is on the market and enjoys great popularity, but we still have to miss the R18\/2.<\/p>\n

It is quite possible that the R18\/2 will be released under the name Roctane. However, this is still speculation at the moment.<\/p>\n
