In America, all GL 1800 Gold Wing (2020 – 2022) with manual transmission are recalled because the ECU mapping could delay the ignition timing.<\/p>\n

This would allow the engine to stall when the clutch lever is pulled under certain circumstances.\u00a0 DCT motorcycles are not affected by the recall.\u00a0<\/p>\n

In America, 1,740 examples will have to go to the workshop, where new software with corrected ignition timing will then be installed.<\/p>\n

Honda is writing to owners regarding the recall.\u00a0 The recall originates from the American region.\u00a0 Since motorcycles are usually produced in a plant for worldwide sales, other regions could also be affected.<\/p>\n
