Cardo Systems, the leading manufacturer of communication systems for motorcycles, recently introduced the new PACKTALK CUSTOM.\u00a0 This is the world’s first communication system with a pay-per-feature option.\u00a0 Users can decide for themselves which features they need and add or remove them on a monthly basis.<\/p>\n

Customization and flexibility<\/h3>\n

The new PACKTALK CUSTOM is an attractively priced entry into the world of communication systems with Dynamic Mesh 2.0 technology.\u00a0 It offers the option of personalization by allowing three different pay-per-feature packages to be added to or deselected from the basic system on a monthly basis.<\/p>\n

The basic system is equipped with the well-known top quality of a PACKTALK model, including best connection quality with state-of-the-art Dynamic Mesh 2.0 and Bluetooth 5.2 technology.\u00a0 In addition, there are over-the-air updates, HD sound and a waterproof and dustproof design certified to IP 67 standards.\u00a0 The new PACKTALK CUSTOM will be launched in April 2023 at a particularly attractive price of \u20ac279.95.<\/p>\n

The pay-per-feature packages of the new Cardo PACKTALK CUSTOM<\/h3>\n

In addition to the market launch of the new PACKTALK CUSTOM, Cardo Systems has also added additional features to the Cardo Connect app.\u00a0 This app allows users to add the packages they want for a month or with a price advantage for a whole year, or to deactivate them again.<\/p>\n

The new system initially offers the option of using the complete PLATIN package of functions free of charge for a period of four weeks.\u00a0 After registration and the first system start, this test<\/a> phase begins.\u00a0 After that, the PACKTALK CUSTOM either continues to run in the basic setup or can be upgraded via the app with one of the three currently available packages:\u00a0 SILVER, GOLD and PLATIN.<\/p>\n

Difference between the packages<\/h3>\n

The SILVER package offers additional features to the standard PACKTALK CUSTOM, such as Music Sharing (sharing a music source), 3 audio profiles and phone speed dialing.\u00a0 The GOLD package includes Universal Bluetooth Intercom (including OBI<\/a> functions), an additional Bluetooth channel (for 2nd mobile phone\/TFT\/GPS) and Bluetooth Bridge function (integrating Bluetooth systems into a mesh group).\u00a0 PLATIN package includes Natural Voice Operation (voice control) and Eco Mode (battery saving function).<\/p>\n
