A quarter of a century of concentrated performance<\/h3>\n

A true motorcycle legend is celebrating its 25th birthday.\u00a0 For 25 years, the Suzuki Hayabusa has been synonymous with unparalleled riding performance.\u00a0 When the first Suzuki Hayabusa was introduced in 1999, the motorcycle community could hardly believe its eyes.\u00a0 Its exceptionally powerful four-cylinder engine, combined with a wind tunnel-optimized body, set new standards in riding performance.\u00a0 It was the first motorcycle to break the 300 km\/h mark.\u00a0 The name Hayabusa, which means peregrine falcon, is a reference to this impressive speed, which a peregrine falcon can also achieve in a dive.<\/p>\n

This revolution ushered in a new era of high-performance motorcycles that transcended the supersport class.\u00a0 With repeated technical updates, the Hayabusa endures to this day as an attractive SportTourer, with the top speed now electronically capped at 299 km\/h and current SuperSport bikes now again offering more power than the Hayabusa.<\/p>\n

State-of-the-art technologies meet performance<\/h3>\n

The anniversary model for 2024 is based on technology from the latest Hayabusa generation.\u00a0 Its 1,340 cubic centimeter in-line four-cylinder impresses both with its maximum output of 190 hp at 9,700 rpm and 150 Nm of torque at 7,000 rpm, as well as with its pleasant driving characteristics.\u00a0 In purely technical terms, however, nothing has changed from the current model.<\/p>\n

Suzuki’s Intelligent Ride System (S.I.R.S.) is used here to help the rider make the most of the powerful engine’s power in any situation.\u00a0 Features such as Launch Control, Traction Control and Cornering ABS allow the power to be enjoyed with maximum driving pleasure and safety.<\/p>\n

Fast, fluid gear changes without clutch actuation are made possible by the bidirectional Quick Shift system.\u00a0 Effective and safe deceleration is ensured by the Brembo Stylema brake system with high-end components.\u00a0 The anniversary model’s suspension is superbly tuned for performance, thanks to Kayaba (KYB) adjustable suspension components and a double-loop aluminum frame.\u00a0 In addition, both KYB’s USD fork with DLC-coated 43 inner tubes and the central shock offer a wealth of adjustment options for custom suspension setups.<\/p>\n

Distinctive Hayabusa 25th Anniversary Edition design<\/h3>\n

This exclusive 25th Anniversary special edition attracts attention with its unique design.\u00a0 The “25th Anniversary” emblem adorns both the tank and the pearl-blasted mufflers, which bear the anniversary logo as a pearl-blasted engraving.\u00a0 The Hayabusa Kanji logo adorns the chain guard, while the brake disc inner ring and chain tensioner gleam with gold anodized finishes.\u00a0 A raised, three-dimensional Suzuki<\/a> logo also adorns the tank.\u00a0 In addition, the Hayabusa 25th Anniversary Edition comes standard with a pillion seat cover painted in the vehicle color.<\/p>\n

The special edition is limited worldwide and will be distributed to a total of seven countries, including the U.S. and, of course, Japan.\u00a0 In Japan alone, 300 copies are planned.\u00a0 In Germany, the special edition is limited to 50 units.<\/p>\n

The Hayabusa 25th Anniversary Edition 2024 will be available from September in the color combination Glass Blaze Orange \/ Glass Sparkle Black from Suzuki dealers.\u00a0 The recommended retail price is \u20ac19,000 (about $21,093, depending on the current exchange rate).<\/p>\n
