The Tangent RR presents itself as a fully faired supersport with a distinctly low, aerodynamically shaped front end. Instead of a conventional headlight, TVS uses low-mounted LED light units that are seamlessly integrated into the fairing and flanked by large air intakes.<\/p>\n<p class=\"font-claude-response-body break-words whitespace-normal leading-[1.7]\">The side fairing stands out with deep cutouts and sculpturally shaped surfaces. Sharp edges and multi-layered body panels give the motorcycle a determined, track-oriented appearance. The tail section is slim and raised, with a split seat and a high-mounted tail piece that underscores the proportions of a purebred racing motorcycle. This construction method is intended to offer several advantages: lower weight, greater stiffness during rapid direction changes, and improved airflow management around the frame area. At the same time, the design contributes to the motorcycle&#8217;s distinctive appearance.<\/p>\n<p class=\"font-claude-response-body break-words whitespace-normal leading-[1.7]\">The patent suggests high-end suspension components. An upside-down fork appears to be used at the front, with a monoshock in an offset arrangement at the rear. The braking system consists of dual discs up front and a single disc at the rear, with the patent images indicating wave-style brake discs and a radially mounted brake caliper on the front axle. Additional equipment details include clip-on handlebars with a steering damper, a round TFT color display, and a lightweight aluminum swingarm. Two-channel ABS is expected to come as standard.<\/p>\n<h2 class=\"text-text-100 mt-3 -mb-1 text-[1.125rem] font-bold\">Possible Production Version on BMW 450 cc Platform<\/h2>\n<p class=\"font-claude-response-body break-words whitespace-normal leading-[1.7]\">TVS has officially confirmed neither the powertrain nor the platform of the Tangent RR. However, the concept is widely regarded as a possible precursor to a future TVS Apache 450 RR. This model is expected to be based on the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.motorcycles.news\/en\/bmw-f-450-gs-2026\/\" title=\"BMW F 450 GS \u2013 Neue Mittelklasse-GS mit innovativer Technik und moderner Vielseitigkeit\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"  data-wpil-monitor-id=\"16234\">new 450 cc platform that TVS developed jointly with BMW<\/a>. The partnership between the two manufacturers, which began with the 310 cc platform, now extends to the 450 cc segment as well as electric powertrains.<\/p>\n<p class=\"font-claude-response-body break-words whitespace-normal leading-[1.7]\">The 450 cc inline twin-cylinder, set to make its debut in the <a class=\"wpil_keyword_link\" href=\"https:\/\/www.motorcycles.news\/en\/tag\/bmw-en\/\" target=\"_blank\"  rel=\"noopener\" title=\"BMW\" data-wpil-keyword-link=\"linked\"  data-wpil-monitor-id=\"16535\">BMW<\/a> F 450 GS, produces 48 HP (35.3 kW) and delivers torque of 43 Nm. The engine is paired with a 6-speed gearbox. For use in a sport-oriented motorcycle like the Tangent RR, power output and tuning could be adjusted accordingly.<\/p>\n<p class=\"font-claude-response-body break-words whitespace-normal leading-[1.7]\">In terms of electronic rider aids, a comprehensive package would be conceivable for a potential production version: cornering ABS, lean-sensitive traction control, a bidirectional quickshifter, wheelie control, and rear-lift protection. A design patent merely protects the external appearance and safeguards the manufacturer against imitation.
