Germany remains the largest single market with 26,292 motorcycles sold, an increase of 10.4% compared to the previous year.<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Across Europe, they could increase by seven percent. 17,300 machines were sold in France, 15,580 in Italy, 12,607 in Spain and 9,611 in Great Britain \/ Ireland.<\/p>\n<p>There were 15,116 units in the USA and Canada. In China, growth was 16.6% and 8,818 vehicles were sold. South America increased by 36.7 percent to 10,064 vehicles.<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>The most popular models were the travel enduro R 1200\/1200 GS and R 1200\/1250 GS Adventure. Around 59,000 copies were sold.
