Honda plans to launch its battery sharing service in India in the first half of 2022. The Mobile Power Packs will initially supply rickshaws (three-wheeled cabs) with the necessary power.<\/p>\n

The corresponding vehicles are not built by Honda. Honda wants to play a supporting role in convincing local manufacturers to convert their vehicles to the system. A good argument for the conversion is also provided by the legislator; from April 2023, only electrically powered rickshaws may be used in India.<\/p>\n

At the launch of the system, the exchange stations will only be available in selected cities, but the aim is to gradually expand the areas.<\/p>\n
