Italian electric motorcycle brand Energica is working on a comeback. After the company slid into insolvency in early 2025 following a failed expansion and withdrawal from the MotoE project, there are now concrete signs of a recovery. This has been made possible by a cash injection from an investor in Singapore. Energica CEO Stefano Benatti has outlined the first steps that are intended to pave the way out of the crisis.

Energica, a name that has been synonymous with high-performance electric motorcycles and innovative technology for years, appears to be on the verge of a comeback. Following the announcement of judicial liquidation in late 2024, a group of investors from Singapore is now offering hope. They are said to have not only submitted a formal takeover bid, but also made a substantial down payment.

The Italian electric motorcycle manufacturer, Energica Motor Company, known for its powerful electric vehicles and its role as a supplier of MotoE bikes, is on the brink of its final demise.  The company has officially announced that it will enter into judicial liquidation proceedings.  This decision comes after failed attempts to attract new investors and stabilize the financial situation.

Voice control can be very helpful and a real relief in many areas. The Italian manufacturer of electric motorcycles, Energica, sees potential in this technology and is working on a voice control system that they want to integrate into their electric motorcycles.

Experience gained by the manufacturer of electric motorcycles in MotoE will now also be incorporated into the production motorcycles, with the help of various RS model updates.
