Ducati has released a short teaser video on its social media channels, confirming the existence of a new Superleggera V4 Centenario. This confirms that the Italian manufacturer from Borgo Panigale will launch a special edition of its most exclusive sportbike to mark its 100th anniversary. The full presentation is scheduled for March 26, 2026 as part of the Ducati World Première 2027.
What the teaser video reveals
The video released by Ducati is deliberately brief and reveals very little. It shows the black anodized upper triple clamp of the motorcycle as a laser engraving machine etches the words “SUPERLEGGERA V4 CENTENARIO” into it. The sequence is accompanied by the date March 26, when all technical details, specifications and features of the new machine are set to be unveiled.
Ducati describes the upcoming model as a motorcycle that aims to push the boundaries of what is possible on a street-legal motorcycle. The presentation will take place on Ducati.com and on the manufacturer’s YouTube channel, while images and further information will be made available through the Ducati Media House.

What the name Centenario means
The “Centenario” suffix in the model name refers to Ducati’s 100th anniversary, which is being celebrated this year. It stands to reason that the manufacturer will use this milestone as an opportunity to go above and beyond with its flagship model.
The previous Superleggera V4 as a starting point
The Superleggera, which translates to “super light” in English, represents the pinnacle of Ducati’s sportbike range. Previous Superleggera models were lighter and more powerful than their Panigale V4 siblings and came equipped with components otherwise reserved for the Superbike World Championship. Production was limited to just 500 individually numbered units. The 2020 edition was priced at around 100,000 British pounds (approximately 115,500 euros / 134,500 US dollars).
What specific technical innovations, production numbers and pricing the Centenario edition will bring remains unknown at this point. Answers are expected to come with the full reveal on March 26.
