The FIM was made aware that several drivers on private test drives on a racetrack were said to have violated applicable regulations regarding the use of performance parts.
One of the accused drivers is the French MotoGP rider Fabio Quartararo. During the test, he drove a Yamaha R1, which was prepared by Tech-Solutions. He, as well as Tech-Solution, posted several photos of it on Instagram. Another team noticed illegal parts on the machine.
Quartararo now has to explain to the FIM. Sergio Garcia from Moto3 is also affected.
