Cal Crutchlow, Alex Rins and Marc Marquez had unfortunate injuries last weekend and have now been tested for fitness at the Medical Center. All three will be allowed to compete in the race next Sunday.

Cal Crutchlow injured in WarmUp last Sunday and had to undergo an operation. Since the injury is on the left hand, it should only partially affect him, since the course has mostly right turns and is also braked with the right hand.

Alex Rins crashed in turn 11 during qualifying. He pulled his right shoulder out and broke (not completely) his upper arm bone. An operation was not necessary. During Friday’s training, Rins would like to test how well he copes with the injury and whether a race start is possible.

Marc Marquez crashed during the race and broke his right upper arm bone. He was operated on Tuesday and also declared fit for racing. He will refrain from taking part in Friday training to give himself an extra day of rest. On Saturday he will get back on his RC213V. It remains to be seen whether he can really take part in the race.
