Cagiva is coming back – as an electric label

The cult brand Cagiva will be reactivated, according to rightsholder Giovanni Castiglioni, the CEO of MV Agusta.

Cagiva, however, is only to produce electric motorcycles up to the middle price range. A superbike is not planned and not a motorcycle with combustion engine. -There will be fun bikes and off-road motorcycles powered purely by electricity.

It is expected that the first models will be presented this year at EICMA, which could then be launched in 2019.
