Experience gained by the manufacturer of electric motorcycles in MotoE will now also be incorporated into the production motorcycles, with the help of various RS model updates.
Strictly speaking, these are not new models or models where modified components have been fitted, apart from a reinforced O-ring chain. Basically, only new software is installed, which gives the electric motorcycles better acceleration.
The EGO and EVA Ribelle models thus save 0.2 seconds when sprinting from 0 to 60 mph (96 km/h). This results in an acceleration value of 2.6 seconds. With the somewhat slower EsseEsse, the time required is reduced to 2.8 seconds.
However, the top speeds of the models remain the same.
The software update will be available as an RS package from February 2021. In addition to the software, the package includes a rear stand, an indoor motorcycle cover and RS stickers. Prices have not yet been announced.
