Because of bad weather, the first qualifying had to be postponed to Sunday. However, the conditions were not optimal, it seemed the sun, but it also blew a stormy wind.
First qualifying of the TT on Sunday
First, the newcomers of the solo and the sidecar class (s) went into the guided round to get to know the course. Subsequently, the Supersport and Lightweight qualifying started.
Dean Harrison set the fastest time of the day with his Kawasaki ZX6R Silicone Engineering Racing. He achieved a lap average of 126.09 mp / h.
Michael Dunlop drove a lap cut of 123.71 mp / h with his CBR600RR, his own team MD Racing.
In the class Lightweight Jamie Coward drove a lap average of 119.96 mp / h. In second place came Michael Dunlop with 118.52 mp / h. The new driver of the RC Express Racing Team was also impressive. Paul Jordan reached 117.45 mp / h.
John McGuinness set a best time of 111.77 mp / h with the Norton.
