Development trends in China

The rise of Chinese motorcycle brands as independent, quality-oriented manufacturers is a sign of change in the industry.  Kove is at the forefront of this change with its 800X range, offering models that are suitable for both on- and off-road riding.

Three variants of the Kove 800X

The series consists of the Adventure, Adventure PRO and Rally models.  All are based on a 799 cc two-cylinder engine with 71 hp (94 hp, 70 kW) and 80 Nm torque.  Each model has specific features that make it suitable for different areas of use.

Kove 800X Adventure

The entry-level Adventure model offers a seat height of 835 mm and a ground clearance of 245 mm.  Its technical features include a 310 mm double disc brake and suspension with 210 mm travel.  The top speed is 210 km/h (130 mph).

Kove 800X Adventure PRO

The Adventure PRO version is aimed at riders looking for increased off-road capabilities.  With a seat height of 865 mm and a ground clearance of 275 mm, as well as 240 mm KYB suspension and Taisko radial brake calipers, it is designed for more demanding off-road riding.

Kove 800X Rally

The Kove 800X Rally is the top model for off-road fans.  It offers a ground clearance of 293 mm, advanced suspension and a low dry weight of 169 kg (373 lbs).  Despite a lower top speed of 185 km/h (115 mph), it is characterized by its off-road performance.

Technical aspects

The models in the 800X series are equipped with modern technology, including tubeless tires, a TFT display and full LED lighting.  A special feature is the ABS system, which can be switched off for added safety.

Summary

The Kove 800X range demonstrates the progress and diversity in the Chinese motorcycle industry.  It offers a range of models to suit different riding styles and needs.  While availability and pricing are yet to be determined, the range underlines Kove’s ambition to establish itself in the international market.
