As Harley-Davidson has already announced, “LiveWire” is to become its own brand and take over Harley’s electric division. Now the “LiveWire ONE” was presented as the first model.
Familiar model, lower price
As already suspected in advance, the already available “Harley-Davidson LiveWire” has now been presented as the “LiveWire ONE. Basically, it is the same electric motorcycle. According to American emissions documents, it is supposed to produce 101 hp (102.4 PS), but Harley spoke of 105 hp (106.4 PS) at the presentation, which thus corresponds to the already available model.
The top speed is given as 110 mph (177 km/h). Acceleration from a standstill to 60 mph (100 km/h) is said to take 3 seconds. The LiveWire ONE is equipped with a 15.4 kWh battery. Via DC fast charger, this is said to be charged to 80% in 40 minutes or to 100% in one hour. A range of 146 miles (235 km) in city driving or a combined range of 95 miles (153 km) is said to be possible.
The suspension elements are from Showa, the brakes from Brembo.
For the time being only in America
Much has changed in the price. Previously, the model was offered (by Harley) at a price of $30,000. The MSRP of the LiveWire ONE is now $21,999. It is only available in America for the time being, but is to be offered internationally in 2022.
