The SRK 800 Dark Edition complements QJMotor’s French model range and is based on the well-known SRK 800. It features the same four-cylinder engine, but does away with some equipment features to keep the price down. It is therefore aimed at riders who prefer a stripped-down but powerful naked bike.
Revised model variant for the French market
The Dark Edition will initially be available exclusively in France. The model uses the familiar 778 cm³ inline four-cylinder engine, which delivers 95 hp and 75 Nm. Two riding modes and traction control are still included. Compared to the regular SRK 800, however, the new version does without features such as a quickshifter, cruise control, and backlit switches.
Technical adjustments and chassis details
Instead of the aluminum frame of the sportier SRK 800 RR, the Dark Edition once again features a steel frame. The Marzocchi suspension has also been omitted, although the bike still has an adjustable upside-down fork and an adjustable shock absorber. The braking system remains unchanged and includes radially mounted Brembo calipers, two 320 mm discs at the front, and ABS on both axles.
Other technical data includes dimensions of 2085 mm in length, 770 mm in width, and 1150 mm in height, a wheelbase of 1450 mm, and a seat height of 815 mm. The ground clearance is 150 mm. With a full tank, the motorcycle weighs 207 kg or around 456 lbs.
Equipment and electronics
A 5-inch TFT display with Bluetooth and navigation is still part of the standard equipment. The lighting is provided entirely by LED technology. In addition to ABS and traction control, two riding modes are available.
Positioning and pricing
With a price tag of €6,799 or around $7,430, the Dark Edition is significantly cheaper than the regular SRK 800, which costs €8,599 in France. QJMotor is thus positioning the motorcycle in the competitive environment of smaller naked bikes such as the Honda CB500 Hornet or the Yamaha MT 03.
The market launch in France is scheduled for December 2025. Whether the model will later reach other European markets remains to be seen.
