The final presentation of the ZX-25R was originally planned for 04.04.2020, which is no longer possible due to the current situation. There will probably be an online presentation. Until then, the race track version of the ZX-25R had been presented.

Kawasaki ZX-25R – the previous data

The little superbike with the 250cc in-line four-cylinder has caused a stir not only since the first presentation. Data have not yet been released, but behind the scenes, one speaks of around 45 hp. But you can also hear voices that speak of up to 65 hp and a speed band of up to 20,000 rpm. Since the Tokyo Motor Show, however, we know that the red area starts at 17,000 rpm.

The motorcycle is equipped with modern electronic controls and offers a quick shifter incl. Blipper (for shifting up and down), various riding modes and traction control.

The ZX-25R racetracks including their own racing series

Kawasaki has now introduced a version of the sportbike for the racetrack and is announcing its own racing series for 2021.

The presented motorcycle shows a fairing in “Blackdiamond” from ATEC, an exhaust system from Beet, the rear damper of the ZX-10R, adjustable brake and clutch levers, as well as the tires Dunlop Sportmax.

However, the motorcycle is not sold by Kawasaki with these specifications, it should serve as inspiration. Kawasaki is planning its own racing series in Asia and participants should modify the series motorcycle with accessories themselves.

Dates will be announced soon

In a video on YouTube, Kawasaki apologized for the missing presentation on April 4, 2020, and advised to keep an eye on theyr Instagram channel. So one can expect the data of the upcoming ZX-25R soon.
