RIDE 6 5 1

RIDE 6: New motorcycle racing game announced for 2026

Milestone will release the next major installment in its racing game series, RIDE 6, in early 2026. The title will be released on February 12, 2026, for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S, and PC, and according to the manufacturer, it will be the most comprehensive project in the series to date. Pre-order customers will have access via early access starting February 9, 2026.

New career mode with international legends

The focus is on the RIDE Fest career mode. The touring festival is based on an open progression system and combines different tasks, motorcycle classes, and track types. Within this career, players compete against a total of ten well-known names from various racing disciplines. These include Casey Stoner, Troy Bayliss, Guy Martin, Peter Hickman, Skyler Howes, James Toseland, Ian Hutchinson, and Tyler O’Hara. The inclusion of real riders is a new feature for the series and is intended to make the experience more authentic.

Over 340 motorcycles and seven categories

RIDE 6 includes over 340 motorcycles from 21 manufacturers and covers seven categories. For the first time, models from the bagger and maxi enduro segments have been added, promising new riding experiences. Adventure and retro models such as the Honda CRF1100L Africa Twin and the Yamaha XSR900 GP were also shown in the trailer. The new KTM 990 RCR is also represented.

45 tracks worldwide, including off-road sections

The track list contains 45 courses. In addition to world-famous race tracks, it also includes fictional tracks, urban environments, and, for the first time, off-road sections. The off-road sections consist of gravel, natural passages, and muddy segments specially designed for enduro models. The spectrum ranges from classic circuits to road races and kart tracks.

Technology and physics with Unreal Engine 5

RIDE 6 is based on Unreal Engine 5. The graphics are designed to be more detailed, while the sound design offers revised motorcycle sounds. Another new feature is the dual physics system. It consists of a Pro mode for a simulation-oriented driving experience and an Arcade mode for an easier introduction. Both modes can be flexibly customized.

Driving school, editors, and multiplayer

The driving school has been completely redesigned and offers a level system with various exercises and rewards. Advanced editors for motorcycles, helmets, and racing suits are also available. With Race Creator, you can put together your own events.

The multiplayer mode has also been expanded. Online races are possible with crossplay, while a split-screen mode is available locally. Rankings track the results in online mode. Designs from the editors can be used in all modes.

Conclusion

RIDE 6 combines an extensive selection of motorcycles, more diverse tracks, and a revamped career and physics system. The inclusion of real racing greats and off-road sections for the first time significantly enhance the gaming experience. How the balancing act between simulation and accessibility will turn out will be seen when the game is released in February 2026.
