Variants and prices

Analogue

The Analogue variant is the base model of the Guerrilla 450 and costs 239,000 rupees (approx. 2,670 euros or 2,930 USD).  It is offered in the color “Smoke Silver” and has a semi-digital instrument cluster with a central LCD and an analog dial.  In addition, there is a separate unit for Tripper navigation, which offers smartphone connectivity for call and SMS notifications as well as turn-by-turn navigation.  This variant is the most affordable in the Guerrilla 450 line-up.

Dash

The middle variant, Dash, costs 249,000 rupees (approx. 2,780 euros or 3,050 USD) and is available in the colors “Playa Black” and “Gold Dip”.  These models are characterized by their two-tone paintwork.  Playa Black combines black with red and a yellow stripe across the tank, while Gold Dip offers a mix of gold and red.  This variant has a fully digital display with smartphone connectivity as standard.

Flash

The top variant, Flash, costs 254,000 rupees (approx. 2,830 euros or 3,110 USD) and is available in the colors “Brava Blue” and “Yellow Ribbon”.  This version also offers a fully digital TFT display with smartphone connectivity.  Brava Blue combines blue with white, while Yellow Ribbon is a mix of black, yellow and purple.

Technical specifications

All three variants of the Guerrilla 450 use the same 452cc, liquid-cooled, single-cylinder engine that delivers 39.50 hp (39.5 hp, 29.5 kW) at 8,000 rpm and 40 Nm of torque at 5,500 rpm.  The engine is coupled to a six-speed gearbox.

Chassis and brakes

The Guerrilla 450 is based on a tubular steel frame that integrates the engine as a load-bearing element.  The front suspension consists of a 43 mm telescopic fork, while the rear wheel is damped by an adjustable monoshock.  The tires include a 120/70-17 tire at the front and a 160/60-17 tire at the rear.  The braking system consists of a 310 mm disc with two-piston brake calliper at the front and a 270 mm disc with single-piston brake calliper at the rear.  Dual-channel ABS is standard.

Dimensions and weight

The seat height of the Guerrilla 450 is 780 mm, which also makes it accessible for smaller riders.  The ready-to-ride weight is 184 kg (approx. 405 pounds), which makes the machine heavier than some of its competitors, but promises solid road holding.  The payload is 191 kg, which also makes the bike suitable for longer trips for two.

Fuel tank and range

The fuel tank holds 11 liters, which, given the stated consumption of 3.4 liters per 100 km, gives a theoretical range of around 323 km.

Conclusion

The Royal Enfield Guerrilla 450 offers an interesting mix of classic design and modern technology, paired with a proven engine and solid chassis components.  The different variants offer options for different preferences and budgets, from the affordable Analogue to the fully equipped Flash.  With its robust construction and versatility, the Guerrilla 450 could cut a fine figure both in the city and on winding country roads.
