With the new Panigale V4 SP Ducati brings back the historical acronym that stands for Sport Production. The special nature of the new model is also highlighted by the production number engraved on the steering head.

Incl. road approval, but built for the race track

The Panigale V4 SP has 214 PS and a torque of almost 118 Nm. The dry weight is indicated with 173 kg. Many components come from the Superleggera V4, such as the carbon rims, brake calipers, master brake cylinder, dry clutch and the 520 chain size. It is equipped with all technical features to show its qualities on the race track.

The 5-spoke carbon wheels alone save 1.4 kg compared to the forged aluminum rims. This makes the bike much more agile. At the front, Brembo’s MCS radial pump, Stylema R calipers and two 330 mm brake discs are used for braking. These components are designed to ensure a constant brake pressure even during long and hard brake applications.

The footrests coming from Rizoma, are made of aluminium and are adjustable to adapt them to your own ergonomics.

A racing kit is included

A race kit is included for track use to allow removal of the rear view mirrors, license plate holder and the use of an open clutch cover. The Ducati Data Analyzer including a GPS module is also included.

The paintwork was based on the appearance of the MotoGP and SBK motorcycles used in the winter tests. The colour scheme was revised by the Ducati Style Centre. The aluminum tank was only partially treated with color. The fairing is matt black and details are in red.

Of course, carbon components were also used, such as the fenders.

Nothing has been revealed about the price yet, the first dealers will be supplied in March 2021.
