Designer Oberdan Bezzi apparently asked himself this question, at least he provides a possible answer.
He designed a fairing Indian FRR 1200 with a V-Twin. He integrated the well-known drivetrain into a different, sportier chassis. He consciously chose the engine because enough power was required for a sports bike.
Unfortunately, the picture is only the work of an extremely talented designer. Indian has (so far) made no suggestion of building a real sportbike.
Oberdan Bezzi is well now known for his motorcycle renderings, which he has been publishing on the Internet for years. According to his statements, he develops the designs without an order from companies or customers.
On the other hand, according to his own statements, he has already worked on many models that are already on the market. For legal reasons, he cannot say which one it was.
In his designs, he is not limited to a specific genre or brands, from helicopters to ADV machines, he has already digitally sketched a lot.
