8h Spa Motos – EWC Round 2 – 2026

8h Spa Motos 2026 – Endurance World Championship Hits the Legendary Ardennes Circuit
On 5–6 June 2026, the FIM Endurance World Championship (EWC) returns to the Circuit de Spa-Francorchamps in Belgium for the third edition of the 8 Hours of Spa Motos. As the second round of the 2026 EWC season, this 8-hour endurance race takes place on one of the most demanding and storied racetracks in the world.
The Circuit
The Circuit de Spa-Francorchamps in Belgium’s Ardennes region is the stuff of motorsport legend: 7.004 kilometres long, with elevation changes exceeding 100 metres, 19 corners, and the iconic Eau Rouge/Raidillon sequence. The track pushes riders and machinery to their absolute limits – even more so in endurance racing, where changing light and weather conditions add another layer of challenge. The circuit has hosted world-class motorsport events since 1921.
2026 EWC Season
The 2026 FIM Endurance World Championship comprises four rounds: the 24 Heures Motos at Le Mans (April), the 8h Spa Motos at Spa-Francorchamps (June), the Suzuka 8 Hours in Japan (July), and the Bol d’Or at Le Castellet (September). Factory teams from Yamaha, BMW, Honda, Suzuki, Kawasaki, and Ducati compete with three-rider line-ups on current-spec superbikes for the world championship title.
Format and Schedule
The race weekend spans two days:
- Friday, 5 June: Administrative and technical scrutineering, free practice sessions, qualifying
- Saturday, 6 June: Warm-up, start of the 8-hour race, finish and podium ceremony
A support programme featuring additional races and activities rounds out the weekend for motorsport fans.
