The 2027 motorcycle year is already taking clear shape. Many manufacturers now present their model updates a year in advance, so the first 2027 machines appear in price lists as early as the summer of 2026. This overview page collects all models that are officially confirmed for model year 2027 or whose registration documents have already surfaced, sorted by manufacturer.
In terms of content, 2027 differs noticeably from the previous year. Where 2026 mainly saw the range grow in breadth, the following year is about new engine generations, racing technology in production motorcycles and the next step for the superbikes. BMW Motorrad
BMW already laid out its entire model year 2027 in the summer of 2026. The only genuine technical innovation concerns the M 1000 RR: it gets a third-generation M Motorsport frame that is around 1.3 kilograms lighter. The S 1000 RR, K 1600 and the remaining model lines mainly receive new colors, editions and equipment packages. What is missing stands out: the R 1300 GS, R 1300 GS Adventure, F 450 GS and F 900 GS do not appear in the 2027 list, which could point to a pending revision of the GS family. The models have been available to order since August 2026.

The changes to the two crossover models go considerably further. The S 1000 XR and M 1000 XR are in line for a major facelift for 2027. Homologation documents from Australia show a completely new front end with a central headlight, a tightened rear section and new side panels. Engine output remains unchanged.

Two further projects have not been officially confirmed so far. A drawing from a design application filed in India that surfaced in July 2026 is said to show the next S 1000 RR, together with a leaked output figure of 215 hp for 2027. At the same time, the M 1000 RS is moving closer as the first RS model with a four-cylinder engine. And for the big boxer roadster R20 with around 2,000 cubic centimeters, motorcycle boss Markus Flasch mentioned in an official video the possibility of bringing the production start, previously expected in March 2028, forward to 2027.

Ducati
Above the previous production models, a further stage is emerging at Ducati. For model year 2027, the Californian environmental agency CARB has certified a Panigale V4 SP. It uses the same 1,103 cc engine as the other Panigale V4 models and is said to slot in between the V4 S and the V4 R. The official presentation is expected in the fall of 2026 as part of the Ducati World Première around the EICMA in Milan, and prices are still open.

In the off-road segment, Ducati is extending the Desmo family downward. With the Desmo250 MX, the manufacturer is bringing a 250 cc motocross machine with desmodromic valve control to the market for the first time. The completely newly developed 249.7 cc single revs to 15,000 rpm and shares central design features with the engine of the Panigale V4 R.

Honda
At Honda, model year 2027 is dominated by the large four-cylinder models. The CBR1000RR-R Fireblade SP with 217 hp and the CBR1000RR return, joined by the CB1000F as a retro naked bike with 124 hp. The entry price of the Fireblade SP is around 29,000 euros.

The CB750 Hornet, by contrast, enters the new model year with purely visual changes. Four new two-tone paint schemes replace the previous color range, while the 92 hp, 755 cc parallel twin, the chassis and the electronics remain untouched. In Italy, according to media reports, Honda offers the naked bike exclusively with E-Clutch and only in three of the four color combinations, while in German-speaking markets the version with a conventional clutch stays in the range.

It remains open when the new air- and oil-cooled 501 cc single will come to Europe. Because Honda has registered the name GB 500 as a trademark in the EU and the USA, a European launch as the GB 500 S is considered likely for 2027 at the earliest. That would make the machine one of the few new large-displacement singles of the model year.

Kawasaki
The most interesting Kawasaki of model year 2027 has not been officially presented so far. EPA and CARB documents list the Ninja H2 for 2027 with the emissions data of the Z H2 SE, meaning 197 hp instead of the previous 228 hp. Together with a twelve-second teaser on the European channels, this strengthens the indications of a return of the supercharged supersport machine to Europe, where it had failed to meet the Euro 5 standard in 2021. The EICMA at the beginning of November 2026 is considered the likely setting for the presentation, although that is not confirmed.

With the small retro models, on the other hand, everything stays as it was. The Meguro S1 and W230 enter model year 2027 technically unchanged. Both A2-compatible singles with 233 cubic centimeters and 18 hp (12.9 kW) at 7,000 rpm will in future be offered only in the color Ebony, which means the W230 loses its previous Metallic Matte Dark Green. Kawasaki has not yet named prices for 2027; in model year 2026, the list showed 4,995 euros for the W230 and 5,695 euros for the Meguro S1, in each case ex works.

KTM
KTM enters model year 2027 with an unusually high share of competition models. First up is the 690 Rally, which arrives at dealers from October 2026 and is listed as model year 2027. It transfers the rally concept to the 690 platform straight from the factory: 79 hp (58 kW) from the 692.7 cubic centimeter LC4 single, a total tank capacity of 20 liters from a 13-liter rear tank and two front tanks, a dedicated rally tower with a 4.2-inch TFT display and 161.5 kilograms without fuel. KTM has not named a price so far.

The 450 Rally Replica 2027 is considerably more exclusive. The race machine, limited to slightly more than 100 units, has a 449.3 cc SOHC single, an Akrapovic titanium system and a 35-liter three-tank setup, and has been delivered since July 2026. In addition, eight units of the Luciano Benavides Factory Edition are being built in Red Bull KTM livery. For the 100th edition of the Six Days in Portugal, the special series EXC 6DAYS 2027 is also coming.

On the road, the 790 Duke gets new WP technology, sharpened looks and more comfort for model year 2027, without becoming more expensive. The price remains at 8,699 euros, and the market launch was planned for the end of July 2026. In the electric segment, the Freeride E 2027 has already been at dealers since April 2026, an enduro with 26 hp, a 5.5 kWh battery and a weight of 112 kilograms, which can be ridden from the age of 16 with an A1 license or B196 entry.

For the end of 2027, the next big step is emerging. Below the 990 RC R, KTM is expanding the RC line with a 790 RC and a 490 RC. The 490 RC is said not to be based on the 450 RC offered in China, but on a specially developed platform with a new parallel twin just under 500 cubic centimeters. Output is considered likely to be 55 to 65 hp. The first model on this platform is said to be the 490 Duke, whose premiere is expected at the end of 2027. KTM has not named dates, prices or technical data so far.

Husqvarna
Husqvarna Mobility is adding a Style Edition to the Svartpilen line for model year 2027. The Svartpilen 801 SE has cruise control and a bidirectional quickshifter as standard, plus dark green paintwork. The proven LC8c parallel twin with 799 cubic centimeters and 105 hp remains unchanged. In the USA, the list price is 10,799 US dollars (around 9,210 euros), while a European price is still to come.

The complete motocross range for 2027 has also been set. Nine machines from the TC 50 to the FC 450 get a white chrome-molybdenum frame and new graphics, but remain largely unchanged technically. US prices start at 5,199 US dollars for the TC 50 and go up to 11,749 US dollars for the FC 450.

Suzuki
Suzuki is expanding the GSX-R 1000 into a trio for 2027 and, with the GSX-R1000RS, is placing a third, higher-positioned version at the top for the first time. All three versions can be pre-ordered in the USA, with prices starting at the equivalent of around 14,350 euros.

Triumph
The first officially announced model of model year 2027 comes from Triumph. The Speed Twin 1200 TFC is limited to 750 numbered units and is the fifth model in the Triumph Factory Custom line. It takes over the engine and basic technology of the Speed Twin 1200 RS with 105 hp and 112 Nm, but adds a fully adjustable Öhlins chassis, Brembo Stylema brakes, an Akrapovič titanium system and numerous carbon parts. In Germany, the TFC costs 20,895 euros, and deliveries begin in October 2026.

The color offensive is much broader in scope: six familiar models from the Tiger Sport 800 to the Rocket 3 Storm get new paint schemes for model year 2027. The colors reach dealers from August 2026, most of them as premium variants with a small surcharge.

What happens next with the Street Triple remains open. For Moto2, Triumph has developed a completely new three-cylinder engine that will be used from 2027 and which expressly does not come from the 798 cc shelf of the Trident 800 and Tiger Sport 800. There is no matching production motorcycle so far, and the displacement is above 765 and below 850 cubic centimeters. The next step is also taking shape for the large adventure bike: at the start of his world record run on September 5, 2026 in London, Sam Sunderland was apparently already sitting on a new Tiger 1200 in the photos, a model Triumph has not yet officially presented.

Indian
Indian is clearing up its range for model year 2027. The US environmental agency EPA has certified only six Scout variants, compared with 17 in model year 2025 and 15 in the current year. The Scout Classic and Sport Scout RT are dropped, as is the Limited +Tech equipment line.

Royal Enfield
Royal Enfield continues to expand the 452 cc Sherpa platform. With the Scram 450, a third scrambler is said to come to the market in 2027 alongside the Himalayan 450 and Guerrilla 450, with a 19-inch front wheel, an upside-down fork and a distinct tracker design.

Other Manufacturers
CFMoto is working on the next generation in the cruiser segment. The 550CL-C brings a 526 cc parallel twin with 53 hp and an aluminum swingarm, a clear upgrade over the 450CL-C. The market launch is planned for 2027.

Zontes is expanding the three-cylinder 703 range from two to four models. Alongside the familiar 703RR and the 703F, the naked bike 703R and the sport tourer 703T join the lineup. The liquid-cooled 699 cc three-cylinder produces 95 hp (70 kW) at 11,500 rpm and 74.4 Nm at 8,500 rpm, and an A2 version with 35 kW is planned. From model year 2027, ride-by-wire, cruise control, a bidirectional quickshifter, a six-axis sensor and cornering ABS are standard equipment across the entire range. The 703T additionally gets a 20-liter tank, an eight-inch TFT display and a dashcam front and rear. In Spain, prices start at 6,488 euros for the 703R and 7,288 euros for the 703T, while German dealers have so far quoted around 9,000 euros.

ZXMoto is bringing the brand’s first adventure bike for 2027 with the 820X. The homologation of the production version lists 116 hp from 819 cubic centimeters, 218 kilograms and a price equivalent to around 6,100 euros in China. For 2028, company founder Zhang Xue has also announced a five-cylinder in V configuration with around 1,000 cubic centimeters, although so far only the engine concept is confirmed, not the performance figures circulating about it.

Kove is preparing a comprehensive facelift of the 800X. Leaked Chinese homologation documents show a completely new front end with stacked LED lights and a high front fender. The proven 799 cc parallel twin with 96.5 hp (71 kW) remains unchanged, and the weight rises slightly to 194 kilograms.

Aston Martin says it will deliver the AMB 002 Roadster, a road bike developed together with Brough Superior, from the third quarter of 2027. A total of 300 units will be built with a 1,083 cc V-twin, 130 hp (95.6 kW) and a titanium frame milled from solid.
