The 2027 motorcycle year is already taking clear shape. Many manufacturers now present their model updates a year in advance, so the first 2027 machines appear in price lists as early as the summer of 2026. This overview page collects all models that are officially confirmed for model year 2027 or whose registration documents have already surfaced, sorted by manufacturer.
In terms of content, 2027 differs noticeably from the previous year. Where 2026 mainly saw the range grow in breadth, the following year is about new engine generations, racing technology in production motorcycles and the next step for the superbikes. BMW Motorrad
BMW already laid out its entire model year 2027 in the summer of 2026. The only genuine technical innovation concerns the M 1000 RR: it gets a third-generation M Motorsport frame that is around 1.3 kilograms lighter. The S 1000 RR, K 1600 and the remaining model lines mainly receive new colors, editions and equipment packages. What is missing stands out: the R 1300 GS, R 1300 GS Adventure, F 450 GS and F 900 GS do not appear in the 2027 list, which could point to a pending revision of the GS family. The models have been available to order since August 2026.

The changes to the two crossover models go considerably further. The S 1000 XR and M 1000 XR are in line for a major facelift for 2027. Homologation documents from Australia show a completely new front end with a central headlight, a tightened rear section and new side panels. Engine output remains unchanged.

Two further projects have not been officially confirmed so far. A drawing from a design application filed in India that surfaced in July 2026 is said to show the next S 1000 RR, together with a leaked output figure of 215 hp for 2027. At the same time, the M 1000 RS is moving closer as the first RS model with a four-cylinder engine. And for the big boxer roadster R20 with around 2,000 cubic centimeters, motorcycle boss Markus Flasch mentioned in an official video the possibility of bringing the production start, previously expected in March 2028, forward to 2027.

On top of that come three limited special models marking 100 years of the Nürburgring. The M 1000 RR, M 1000 R and M 1000 XR are being built as the “Edition 100 Jahre Nürburgring” in Nürburgring Green, 100 units each worldwide. Standard equipment includes the M Track Package, carbon wheels and a certificate of authenticity. According to BMW M the three bikes can be ordered from 19 October 2026, with deliveries in the anniversary year 2027: from June 2027 in the UK and from late 2027 in the US. German prices are still to come.

BMW has now unveiled the F 450 R as the second model on the new 450 platform. The naked bike uses the engine, frame and swingarm of the F 450 GS, but geometry, suspension and ergonomics are tuned entirely for the road, and its styling takes cues from the S 1000 R. The 420cc parallel twin delivers 48 hp (35 kW) and 43 Nm, and at 175 kilograms ready to ride the F 450 R sits exactly on the A2 limit. The centrifugal Easy Ride Clutch is available as an option. Four variants cost between 6,490 and 7,220 euros in Germany, putting the base model below the Aprilia Tuono 457. According to BMW, deliveries are expected to start in June 2027, while there are currently no plans for the US.

On 15 October 2026, BMW unveiled the F 450 RR as the third member of the 450 family and its entry point into the RR world below the S 1000 RR and M 1000 RR. As in the GS and R, the 420cc parallel twin produces 48 hp (35 kW) at 8,750 rpm and 43 Nm, but BMW says it has been tuned specifically for a supersport bike, and top speed is 177 km/h. Its own chassis geometry, 17-inch wheels front and rear, a reversible shift pattern for the track and S 1000 RR-style looks with winglets set it apart from its siblings, and it weighs 177 kilograms ready to ride. Four trim variants are offered, and the Easy Ride Clutch is available for every version. In Germany the F 450 RR starts at 7,250 euros and is expected at dealers in June 2027. Unlike the earlier G 310 RR it will also be sold in Europe and the US, where it comes only as the M Sport for 7,815 US dollars. Its public premiere takes place at EICMA in Milan.

Ducati
Above the previous production models, a further stage is emerging at Ducati. For model year 2027, the Californian environmental agency CARB has certified a Panigale V4 SP. It uses the same 1,103 cc engine as the other Panigale V4 models and is said to slot in between the V4 S and the V4 R. The official presentation is expected in the fall of 2026 as part of the Ducati World Première around the EICMA in Milan, and prices are still open.

The Panigale V4 and V4 S themselves also receive an extensive update for model year 2027, two years after the seventh superbike generation was launched. The 1,103 cc V4 now produces 218 hp (160.4 kW) at 13,500 rpm, 2 hp more than before, and revs to 15,000 rpm in second to fifth gear. It also gets longer gearing, a front frame with 12 percent less lateral stiffness, larger winglet endplates and the new Dynamic Engine Brake and Race Brake Control functions. At Vallelunga the new version is said to be an average of 0.4 seconds per lap faster. For the first time, the V4 S can be customized ex works through the Factory Made program. The Panigale V4 reaches European dealers from March 2027, priced at 28,690 euros in Germany, with the V4 S at 35,990 euros.

Roughly a month later the same pattern repeated with the naked bike. CARB first certified the Streetfighter V4 and V4 S for model year 2027 on 2 March and amended that executive order on 13 August to add an SP variant. The track-focused SP therefore returns after a one-year gap, following Ducati’s quiet deletion of the SP2 for 2026. According to the document, engine and emissions data match the other V4 models with the 1,103 cc Desmosedici Stradale, while the certification names no output figures. The presentation is expected through the World Première videos by EICMA in November 2026 at the latest.

In the off-road segment, Ducati is extending the Desmo family downward. With the Desmo250 MX, the manufacturer is bringing a 250 cc motocross machine with desmodromic valve control to the market for the first time. The completely newly developed 249.7 cc single revs to 15,000 rpm and shares central design features with the engine of the Panigale V4 R.

The Desmo off-road family is completed by the Desmo450 SM, Ducati’s first race supermoto. It is based on the Desmo450 MX platform, but suspension, triple clamps, wheels, brakes and electronics have been reworked for asphalt. The 449.6 cc single produces 63.5 hp (46.7 kW) at 9,400 rpm and 53.5 Nm at 7,500 rpm, and the bike weighs 109 kilograms ready to ride without fuel. It is a competition-only machine without road approval and leaves the factory on slicks. Prices in Germany start at 13,290 euros, deliveries to selected European dealers begin in December 2026, and Ducati quotes spring 2027 for the US.

The Desmo450 MX itself also enters model year 2027 in revised form, with targeted changes drawn from its first racing season rather than a new generation. A 51-tooth instead of 49-tooth rear sprocket shortens the gearing, joined by a larger 40 mm fuel filler opening, reshaped foot levers, Pirelli Scorpion MX32 tyres, reinforced engine, exhaust and chassis parts and predictive maintenance as a fixed feature. The 449.6 cc single still produces 63.5 hp (46.7 kW). For the first time the US version gets its own suspension setup with triple clamps offering 20 instead of 22 mm offset, while the model year 2027 Desmo450 MX Factory will not be sold in North America. The bikes reach selected European dealers first, and Ducati has not announced separate prices for 2027.

A third Ducati addition for 2027 is so far documented only through regulatory filings. The CARB certification for model year 2027 lists a Diavel for Bentley and a Diavel for Bentley Mulliner alongside the Diavel V4. There is no official announcement from Bologna, and the documents confirm emissions data only. The first edition from December 2023 comprised 500 numbered units plus 50 Mulliner versions reserved exclusively for Bentley customers. The same approval was amended on 26 August to add a fourth variant, the Diavel V4 S.

The Multistrada V4 Pikes Peak enters model year 2027 with a purely visual update. Ducati presented it on September 24, 2026 in a new livery inspired by the Desmosedici GP and the Panigale V4 R, including a “Ducati Corse” logo and the number 1. Nothing changes technically: the 1,158 cc V4 Granturismo still delivers 170 hp (125 kW) and 123.8 Nm, paired with semi-active Öhlins suspension. In Germany the Pikes Peak 2027 costs 31,990 euros plus 345 euros delivery and is already at dealers, while North America gets the new livery from March 2027.

Alongside the Pikes Peak, Ducati adds a dedicated touring model for 2027 in the Multistrada V4 S Grand Tour. Presented on October 1, 2026, it comes as standard with radar for adaptive cruise control, blind spot detection and forward collision warning, two side cases with a combined 60 liters, a center stand, plus heated grips and heated seats. New is an automatic lowering device that drops the bike by up to 30 millimeters below 10 km/h. The V4 Granturismo still makes 170 hp (125 kW), and the extended cylinder deactivation now shuts down the rear bank while riding as well. The Grand Tour reaches European dealers from November 2026, priced from 33,990 euros in the Netherlands, while a German price is still pending.

Honda
At Honda, model year 2027 is dominated by the large four-cylinder models. The CBR1000RR-R Fireblade SP with 217 hp and the CBR1000RR return, joined by the CB1000F as a retro naked bike with 124 hp. The entry price of the Fireblade SP is around 29,000 euros.

The CB750 Hornet, by contrast, enters the new model year with purely visual changes. Four new two-tone paint schemes replace the previous color range, while the 92 hp, 755 cc parallel twin, the chassis and the electronics remain untouched. In Italy, according to media reports, Honda offers the naked bike exclusively with E-Clutch and only in three of the four color combinations, while in German-speaking markets the version with a conventional clutch stays in the range.

It remains open when the new air- and oil-cooled 501 cc single will come to Europe. Because Honda has registered the name GB 500 as a trademark in the EU and the USA, a European launch as the GB 500 S is considered likely for 2027 at the earliest. That would make the machine one of the few new large-displacement singles of the model year.

On the touring side, Honda sticks with what works: the NT1100 enters model year 2027 with two new matte colours, while the technology remains at the level of the 2025 overhaul with 102 hp and 112 Nm, optionally with DCT and semi-active Showa EERA suspension. Prices for 2027 have not been announced yet.

A supersport bike based on the new V3 has not been confirmed yet. According to reports from Japan, Honda is turning the 900 cc V3 of the V3R 900 E-Compressor into a naturally aspirated version for a V3R 900RR, which is meant to replace the CBR600RR and make Honda competitive again in the Supersport World Championship. Output of 120 to 130 hp (around 88 to 96 kW) is being discussed. Market launch is expected mid-2027 at the earliest, and first details could appear at EICMA in November 2026.

Kawasaki
The most interesting Kawasaki of model year 2027 has not been officially presented so far. EPA and CARB documents list the Ninja H2 for 2027 with the emissions data of the Z H2 SE, meaning 197 hp instead of the previous 228 hp. Together with a twelve-second teaser on the European channels, this strengthens the indications of a return of the supercharged supersport machine to Europe, where it had failed to meet the Euro 5 standard in 2021. The EICMA at the beginning of November 2026 is considered the likely setting for the presentation, although that is not confirmed.

The return is now official: Kawasaki brings the Ninja H2 back for model year 2027 with a largely redesigned supercharged four-cylinder that meets Euro 5+ and can therefore be sold in Europe again. Kawasaki quotes 209 hp with ram air and 135 Nm, and Brembo Hypure calipers are used for the first time. The Ninja H2 starts at 32,500 euros and reaches dealers from April 2027, the limited H2 Carbon from 35,800 euros as early as October 2026, while the H2R costs 58,000 euros.

With the small retro models, on the other hand, everything stays as it was. The Meguro S1 and W230 enter model year 2027 technically unchanged. Both A2-compatible singles with 233 cubic centimeters and 18 hp (12.9 kW) at 7,000 rpm will in future be offered only in the color Ebony, which means the W230 loses its previous Metallic Matte Dark Green. Kawasaki has not yet named prices for 2027; in model year 2026, the list showed 4,995 euros for the W230 and 5,695 euros for the Meguro S1, in each case ex works.

The Ninja 650, by contrast, gets genuine hardware changes. Kawasaki has reworked the front end for 2027: a non-adjustable 37 mm Showa SFF-BP upside-down fork replaces the previous 41 mm conventional fork, and radially mounted four-piston calipers take over from the axial two-piston units. A stiffer rear spring and a 4.3-inch TFT display with a new layout complete the update, with the app connection now also supporting navigation and voice commands. The 649 cc parallel twin with around 68 hp (50 kW) carries over unchanged. In the UK the Ninja 650 2027 arrives in December at an unchanged 7,499 pounds (around 8,820 euros), Italy quotes 7,990 euros, and a German price has not been announced yet.

The superbike, on the other hand, stays at its 2026 level. The Ninja ZX-10R and the ZX-10RR, limited to 500 units worldwide, enter model year 2027 without technical changes, keeping the large winglets and up to 206 hp (151.2 kW) with ram air. The only news is a Metallic Flat Spark Black / Metallic Spark Black paint scheme for the base model. In the UK the ZX-10R arrives in December at an unchanged 15,999 pounds (around 18,885 euros), the ZX-10RR follows later at 24,799 pounds (around 29,275 euros), and German prices have not been announced yet.

The Versys 900, on the other hand, is a completely new addition. With it, Kawasaki closes the gap between the Versys 650 and Versys 1100 for model year 2027. The crossover uses the Z900’s 948 cc inline-four, retuned for touring to 122 hp (89.6 kW) at 9,500 rpm and 97.3 Nm at 8,000 rpm, and gets a new steel trellis frame. For the first time in the Versys family, radar sensors front and rear enable the ACC Lite adaptive cruise control, forward collision warning and blind spot detection. In Germany the Versys 900 starts at 13,270 euros and the Versys 900 SE costs 14,170 euros, with the market launch in April 2027.

KTM
KTM enters model year 2027 with an unusually high share of competition models. First up is the 690 Rally, which arrives at dealers from October 2026 and is listed as model year 2027. It transfers the rally concept to the 690 platform straight from the factory: 79 hp (58 kW) from the 692.7 cubic centimeter LC4 single, a total tank capacity of 20 liters from a 13-liter rear tank and two front tanks, a dedicated rally tower with a 4.2-inch TFT display and 161.5 kilograms without fuel. KTM has not named a price so far.

The 450 Rally Replica 2027 is considerably more exclusive. The race machine, limited to slightly more than 100 units, has a 449.3 cc SOHC single, an Akrapovic titanium system and a 35-liter three-tank setup, and has been delivered since July 2026. In addition, eight units of the Luciano Benavides Factory Edition are being built in Red Bull KTM livery. For the 100th edition of the Six Days in Portugal, the special series EXC 6DAYS 2027 is also coming.

On the road, the 790 Duke gets new WP technology, sharpened looks and more comfort for model year 2027, without becoming more expensive. The price remains at 8,699 euros, and the market launch was planned for the end of July 2026. In the electric segment, the Freeride E 2027 has already been at dealers since April 2026, an enduro with 26 hp, a 5.5 kWh battery and a weight of 112 kilograms, which can be ridden from the age of 16 with an A1 license or B196 entry.

For the end of 2027, the next big step is emerging. Below the 990 RC R, KTM is expanding the RC line with a 790 RC and a 490 RC. The 490 RC is said not to be based on the 450 RC offered in China, but on a specially developed platform with a new parallel twin just under 500 cubic centimeters. Output is considered likely to be 55 to 65 hp. The first model on this platform is said to be the 490 Duke, whose premiere is expected at the end of 2027. KTM has not named dates, prices or technical data so far.

Husqvarna
Husqvarna Mobility is adding a Style Edition to the Svartpilen line for model year 2027. The Svartpilen 801 SE has cruise control and a bidirectional quickshifter as standard, plus dark green paintwork. The proven LC8c parallel twin with 799 cubic centimeters and 105 hp remains unchanged. In the USA, the list price is 10,799 US dollars (around 9,210 euros), while a European price is still to come.

The complete motocross range for 2027 has also been set. Nine machines from the TC 50 to the FC 450 get a white chrome-molybdenum frame and new graphics, but remain largely unchanged technically. US prices start at 5,199 US dollars for the TC 50 and go up to 11,749 US dollars for the FC 450.

Suzuki
Suzuki is expanding the GSX-R 1000 into a trio for 2027 and, with the GSX-R1000RS, is placing a third, higher-positioned version at the top for the first time. All three versions can be pre-ordered in the USA, with prices starting at the equivalent of around 14,350 euros.

With the Hayabusa, Suzuki limits itself to a Special Edition that brings a new look for a surcharge of 700 US dollars. Nothing changes technically.

There is also a comeback: the SV 650 has been newly certified in California for the 2027 model year – with the Euro 5+ compliant 645cc V-twin and the emissions hardware from the SV-7GX. Whether the model also returns to Europe has not been confirmed by Suzuki so far.

For the retro models GSX-8T and GSX-8TT, Suzuki relies on new colors rather than new technology in 2027. The GSX-8TT is now offered in Candy Daring Red with gold wheels, the GSX-8T in Glass Blaze Orange. The 776 cc twin with 83 hp (61 kW) stays as it is, while a new accessory cruise control works between 40 and 150 km/h. In the UK the GSX-8TT starts at 8,999 pounds, while in Germany Suzuki currently lists it from 9,999 euros, still in the 2026 colors.

Triumph
The first officially announced model of model year 2027 comes from Triumph. The Speed Twin 1200 TFC is limited to 750 numbered units and is the fifth model in the Triumph Factory Custom line. It takes over the engine and basic technology of the Speed Twin 1200 RS with 105 hp and 112 Nm, but adds a fully adjustable Öhlins chassis, Brembo Stylema brakes, an Akrapovič titanium system and numerous carbon parts. In Germany, the TFC costs 20,895 euros, and deliveries begin in October 2026.

The color offensive is much broader in scope: six familiar models from the Tiger Sport 800 to the Rocket 3 Storm get new paint schemes for model year 2027. The colors reach dealers from August 2026, most of them as premium variants with a small surcharge.

On October 6, 2026, Triumph unveiled the Bonneville T40 and T40 Black, bringing the Bonneville name into the 400 class for the first time. Both are based on the TR platform developed together with Bajaj, and their 398 cc single produces 32 hp (23.5 kW) at 7,000 rpm and 36 Nm at 5,000 rpm, making them A2-compliant as standard. They also get a round 4-inch TFT display with map navigation, cruise control, and lean-sensitive ABS and traction control. Triumph plans to announce prices in early 2027, and the first bikes reach European dealers from spring 2027.

Alongside the T40, Triumph published its schedule for three more new models by the end of the year. The Tiger 1200, on which Sam Sunderland had already set off on his world record run in London on September 5, 2026, will be presented on October 27 with a revised three-cylinder offering more power and a new suspension package. On November 17 the technical data of the Street Triple 798 follows, whose new three-cylinder stems from the Moto2 development for 2027. At 798 cc it lands exactly on the displacement of the Trident 800 and Tiger Sport 800, even though Triumph stressed in August that the Moto2 engine was a completely different set-up. How the engines differ has not yet been explained. The Tiger 900 closes the series on December 15 with a stronger engine, revised suspension and next-generation connectivity as standard.

Indian
Indian is clearing up its range for model year 2027. The US environmental agency EPA has certified only six Scout variants, compared with 17 in model year 2025 and 15 in the current year. The Scout Classic and Sport Scout RT are dropped, as is the Limited +Tech equipment line.

Royal Enfield
Royal Enfield continues to expand the 452 cc Sherpa platform. With the Scram 450, a third scrambler is said to come to the market in 2027 alongside the Himalayan 450 and Guerrilla 450, with a 19-inch front wheel, an upside-down fork and a distinct tracker design.

Other Manufacturers
CFMoto is working on the next generation in the cruiser segment. The 550CL-C brings a 526 cc parallel twin with 53 hp and an aluminum swingarm, a clear upgrade over the 450CL-C. The market launch is planned for 2027.

In North America, CFMoto also lists its largest adventure model as a 2027 model year under the name Ibex 950. Technically it is the 1000MT-X known from Europe, with a 946 cc parallel twin, around 113 hp (83 kW) at 8,500 rpm and 105 Nm at 6,250 rpm. The US list price is 12,499 US dollars (approximately 10,800 euros), with dealer deliveries starting in the fourth quarter of 2026.

Benda is adding a technically ambitious model to the Rock line with the Rock 707. The 692 cc V-twin produces 73 hp (54 kW) at 9,000 rpm, joined by an electronically controlled twin-chamber air suspension that lowers the seat height from 720 to 690 millimetres at a standstill, and the electronic BEC MK-III clutch. In Germany the cruiser costs 9,999 euros, and it has been available at European dealers since mid-September 2026.

Zontes is expanding the three-cylinder 703 range from two to four models. Alongside the familiar 703RR and the 703F, the naked bike 703R and the sport tourer 703T join the lineup. The liquid-cooled 699 cc three-cylinder produces 95 hp (70 kW) at 11,500 rpm and 74.4 Nm at 8,500 rpm, and an A2 version with 35 kW is planned. From model year 2027, ride-by-wire, cruise control, a bidirectional quickshifter, a six-axis sensor and cornering ABS are standard equipment across the entire range. The 703T additionally gets a 20-liter tank, an eight-inch TFT display and a dashcam front and rear. ZXMoto is bringing the brand’s first adventure bike for 2027 with the 820X. The homologation of the production version lists 116 hp from 819 cubic centimeters, 218 kilograms and a price equivalent to around 6,100 euros in China. For 2028, company founder Zhang Xue has also announced a five-cylinder in V configuration with around 1,000 cubic centimeters, although so far only the engine concept is confirmed, not the performance figures circulating about it. Kove is preparing a comprehensive facelift of the 800X. Leaked Chinese homologation documents show a completely new front end with stacked LED lights and a high front fender. The proven 799 cc parallel twin with 96.5 hp (71 kW) remains unchanged, and the weight rises slightly to 194 kilograms.

Model year 2027 brings fewer new segments than the previous year, but more substance beneath the bodywork. Four developments shape the year.
New superbike generation: With the Panigale V4 SP, the third frame generation of the M 1000 RR, the GSX-R 1000 trio and the leaked S 1000 RR with 215 hp, more is happening in the top class of production motorcycles than in the years before.
Rally technology in production: KTM is bringing three competition-oriented models to dealers with the 690 Rally, the 450 Rally Replica and the EXC 6DAYS. The rally conversion that customers previously had to commission themselves now comes straight from the factory.
Forced induction returns: The Ninja H2 homologated for 2027 with 197 hp points to a return of the supercharged supersport bike to Europe, while Honda, Yamaha and KTM are working on their own forced-induction solutions.
