As Kawasaki clarifies, the Kawasaki Adaptive design study is not a motorcycle intended for production. However, it could still hint at future models.
Kawasaki has commissioned the Institute of Applied Art and Design to conduct a design study based on new technological innovations. Corresponding technologies could then in turn be incorporated into future models.
The result is the Kawasaki Adaptive, a motorcycle that is designed to adapt to its surroundings. It is intended to be just as suitable for the road as a sports tourer but also for off-road use as an adventure bike. How the whole thing could work and what technologies are needed for it, however, has not yet been revealed. Only some renderings of the Adaptive are known so far.
Whether future Kawasaki models could adopt the look of the study remains to be seen. But it would certainly fit a new Versys.
