From March 30 to April 10 motorcycle manufacturer KTM wants to close the factory in Mattighofen. KTM want to contribute to slowing the spread of the coronavirus.
3,600 employees are sent on company vacation. The reason why the closure was not planned until the end of the month is the situation in Italy. From the end of March, the required parts will also run out, which can be obtained from suppliers in Italy and which cannot currently be delivered.
KTM should not experience delivery bottlenecks. The planned quantities of motorcycles should be in stock at dealers worldwide, and there will also be no shortage of spare parts.
