As announced by the FIM and Dorna, the Grand Prix at Phillip Island had to be cancelled. The current travel restrictions in Australia make it impossible to be held.
As a replacement, they will race at the Algarve. As a result, MotoGP will stop in Portimao for the second time this season. It will be the penultimate race of 2021, just one week before the Final in Valencia.
The MalaysiaGP has been postponed by a week and is now scheduled to take place on Oct. 24.
