MV Agusta has presented a special model of the Brutale 1000 RR, which has been specially tuned for the Nordschleife. Accordingly, it gets the name addition “Nürburgring”.
The strictly limited Nürburgring edition is built by hand and is equipped with numerous upgraded parts. Carbon is everywhere. In addition, the suspension and engine tuning have also been adapted for the Nürburgring. Only 150 units will go on sale and come with a certificate of authenticity.
Modified engine
The engine received new camshafts with modified timing. In addition, lighter titanium connecting rods were also installed, titanium valves and DLC-coated bucket tappets.
The MV Agusta Brutale 1000 RR Nürburgring is supplied with a racing kit that produces 215 PS instead of 208. It includes a full titanium system from Arrow, a special mapping and a carbon pillion seat cover.
The titanium exhaust system provides a fuller torque curve thanks to the longer manifold. Experience from SBK was incorporated into the system.
Suspension and handling
The semi-active Öhlins NIX-EC fork and EC-TTX shock absorber have been retuned and adapted for the race track. The lower weight of the carbon wheels, which were developed in close cooperation with BST, also has a positive effect. Less rotating mass results in improved handling.
Since the Nürburgring is almost incomparable to a normal circuit and you have to cope with a wide variety of conditions, the newly adjusted suspension should ride even more comfortably than on the Brutale RR. Bumps are now better swallowed, but the suspension remains very sporty.
The small flyscreen has been redesigned to act as a winglet and provide more downforce at the front.
The price of the limited special model is 39,000 euros and thus 7,700 euros more than the standard Brutale RR.
