QJMotor SRK 1051 RR: Chinese superbike with Italian influence

The QJMotor SRK 1051 RR is set to be released in 2026 as a new top-of-the-range model, combining Italian design with an advanced four-cylinder engine. The model is based technically and stylistically on previous collaborations with MV Agusta and is one of the most ambitious superbike attempts from China to date.
  • Inline four-cylinder engine with 144 hp (106 kW) at 10,600 rpm and 1,051 cc
  • Design and technical developments from Italy
  • Ready-to-ride weight 215 kg

Shortly after EICMA, QJMotor made a surprise announcement of the SRK 1051 RR. The superbike is based on the well-known 921 platform, but has been extensively redeveloped. The aim is clearly to expand the portfolio towards high-priced sports machines and, at the same time, to make the results of the technical collaboration with Italian development studios more visible.

Italian style as the basis for the new model

According to the manufacturer, the appearance of the SRK 1051 RR is entirely based on the design line of C Creative. The studio, headed by Giovanni Castiglioni and Adrian Morton, is known for numerous MV Agusta models and has clearly influenced the silhouette of the machine. Characteristic features include striking bodywork, harmonious proportions, and an aluminum single-sided swing arm as the visual centerpiece. The machine thus pursues a significantly sportier and higher-quality design language than previous models from the brand.

Bored-out MV four-cylinder as the technical heartpiece

In terms of the engine, QJMotor continues to rely on the four-cylinder, which originally comes from the former MV Agusta cooperation. The stroke of 55 millimeters remains unchanged, while the bore has been increased from 73 to 78 millimeters. This results in an increase in displacement from 921 to 1,051 cubic centimeters. The water-cooled design with double overhead camshafts and 16 valves remains completely unchanged.

The peak power output increases from 129 to 144 hp (106 kW) at 10,600 rpm compared to the previous engine. This puts the machine well below the 200 hp of the current top-class Superbikes in terms of performance, but it is said to be Euro 5+ compliant. A bidirectional quickshifter is standard equipment.

Chassis with MV Agusta DNA

The chassis design follows familiar structures: steel trellis frame with aluminum parts, plus an aluminum single-sided swing arm. Marzocchi contributes an adjustable upside-down fork and a central shock absorber. A steering damper is also part of the equipment. The brake system comes from Brembo and is supported by an angle-sensitive ABS.

Other key data include a wheelbase of 1,425 millimeters, a seat height of 83.5 centimeters, and tire sizes of 120/70 ZR 17 at the front and 190/50 ZR 17 at the rear. QJMotor states the ready-to-ride weight as 215 kilograms, which is equivalent to approximately 474 lbs.

Modern electronics and equipment

Standard equipment includes lean-sensitive traction control, cruise control, a color TFT display with connectivity, and tire pressure monitoring. This means that the SRK 1051 RR meets the current standards for modern sports motorcycles in this segment.

Availability and possible prices

For the European market, the model could be available through the importer KSR, which already offers the SRK 921 RR. This is sold in Germany for €12,999 (approx. $14,000). A price for the SRK 1051 RR has not yet been announced, but according to current estimates, it should be in a similarly affordable range. The market launch is expected in 2026.
