Royal Enfield is recalling several models due to possible ignition coil failures. A total of 236,966 motorcycles are affected.
The recall affects the Classic, Bullet and Meteor series. A defect in the ignition coil can cause misfiring, reduced power or even a short circuit.
The affected models were produced between January and April 2021. Currently, only motorcycles sold in India, Indonesia, Australia, New Zealand, the Philippines, Malaysia and Thailand are affected.
