The two-wheeled sport is varied, from high-speed courses on asphalt, road races through cities and forests, to races on unpaved ground, there are many different ways to enjoy yourself on a motorcycle. Each class has its own heroes, but only a few are able to excel in several disciplines.
Road Racer James Hillier takes up this challenge. The Isle of Man TT winner would like to participate in the 2022 Dakar and compete in a rally on unpaved ground and sand dunes instead of on public roads.
To participate he will have to complete a few more training sessions, but he does not want to write off road racing either. He also plans to participate in road races in 2021. The preparations for the Dakar are to take place in parallel.
