Yamaha has launched a new Bolt in Japan. However, it will also be offered in other markets.
The Bolt is Yamaha’s interpretation of a large V-twin cruiser. Originally, a base model with wire wheels was planned, but this was cancelled. The Bolt has now been fitted with a set of premium alloy wheels that have been refined with a brushed metal finish.
The rear shocks feature balance tanks that were gold anodized. The bike itself comes in Grayish Blue Metallic color scheme with subtle graphics.
The Bolt is powered by an air-cooled 941cc V-twin with fuel injection. It produces 54 PS. The power is delivered to the rear wheel via a 5-speed transmission and by belt. In general, the Bolt is rather classically styled, and puts the engine with its polished cooling fins in the center of attention.
Currently, the Yamaha Bolt is still reserved for the Japanese market, but it should also come to the international market.
