Road racer Adam McLean changes the team and starts this year at Kawasaki.
[sam id=”2″ codes=”true”]The driver from Tombermore was actually still under contract with Team IMR, but this could be solved and now he starts at the TT for McAdoo. He will compete with a Kawasaki ZX-10RR and ZX-6R.
McLean first entered the Isle of Man TT in 2017 and became the fastest newcomer. He achieved a lap average of 120.6 mph with the Supersport machine. He was the sixth-fastest newcomer in the 600cc class.
Adam McLean: “I’m over the moon to sign for McAdoo Kawasaki. I’m sorry it didn’t work out with Team IMR but when the team contacted me today I couldn’t believe it got sorted out so quickly.
I really enjoyed the Kawasaki bikes last year and I’m happy to be reunited with MSS on the McAdoo ZX-6R and ZX-10RR machines. I’m confident we can be successful together and make the next step in my career – I can’t wait to get started.”
