More Information

Design: Visible carbon fiber, clean lines, and special paint finish

The most striking feature is the distinctive WIDESTAR bodywork with high-quality carbon fiber components. The bodywork captivates with its special “Midnight Veil” paint finish, a deep black with slight blue tones that changes depending on the incidence of light. The front is characterized by a specially designed carbon front fender, a special mask with LED projectors, and a distinctive daytime running light signature. These elements are inspired by the design language of BRABUS vehicles.

The side spoilers, tank cover with integrated Dinamica pads, and front spoiler are also made of visible carbon fiber. CNC-milled triple clamps, billet reservoirs, and individually customized footrests underscore the handcrafted character. The driver’s seat combines BRABUS Masterpiece leather with Dinamica microfiber and is elaborately handcrafted. Embossed BRABUS logos are located in the center of the seat.

Drive and technology: performance and equipment

At the heart of the bike is the 1,350 cc LC8 V2 engine from KTM. It delivers 140 kW (190 hp) at the corresponding speed and provides a maximum torque of 145 Nm. According to the specifications, acceleration to 100 km/h (62 mph) takes just over three seconds, and the top speed is around 270 km/h (168 mph).

The intake air is fed in via a revised ram air system in the carbon front section. A special under-seat twin-pipe muffler under the raised rear end provides the right sound. The 17-inch BRABUS Monoblock II EVO “PLATINUM EDITION” rear wheel adds a visual highlight.

Suspension, brakes, and driving modes

The BRABUS 1400 R SIGNATURE EDITION is equipped with WP APEX Semi-Active Technology (SAT). The adaptive suspension works with electronically controlled solenoid valves and offers six damping modes and three automatic presets for spring preload. The package is complemented by a WP PRO steering damper.

Deceleration is provided by a Brembo HYPURE four-piston monoblock system at the front with 320 mm wave brake discs, while a two-piston brake caliper with a 240 mm wave disc is used at the rear. The system is supported by Bosch Cornering ABS and Supermoto ABS.

Five riding modes can be selected via the TFT color display with exclusive BRABUS start animation:

  • Street: Smooth response and comprehensive safety features.
  • Sport: Direct throttle response for spirited riding.
  • Rain: Reduced power and maximum traction control.
  • Performance and Track: Full access to engine power with individual adjustment of traction control, throttle response, and damping.

Other features include a reversible quickshifter and a hydraulic anti-hopping clutch.

Exclusivity and accessories

Each BRABUS 1400 R SIGNATURE EDITION is assigned its own number and comes with a range of exclusive accessories. These include a custom-made indoor cover, a presentation mat in BRABUS design, an individual leather cover, and a carbon box for the key.

BRABUS does not explicitly state the dry weight. As soon as reliable data is available, it will be added.
