B.A.C.A. Poker Run – 2026
On 5 September 2026, the B.A.C.A. Vindobona Chapter (Bikers Against Child Abuse) holds the sixth edition of its Poker Run in St. Pölten, Austria – a charity motorcycle ride in support of child protection. Start and finish is at Bike Factory St. Pölten in Lower Austria.
B.A.C.A. – Bikers Against Child Abuse
B.A.C.A. was founded in the United States in 1995 and works worldwide to protect abused children. The Vindobona Chapter, based in Vienna, has existed since 2015 and raises donations and awareness for the issue of child abuse and prevention through actions such as the Poker Run and the annual 100 Mile Ride.
How the Poker Run works
Riders start between 11:00 and 12:30 at Bike Factory St. Pölten, with the awards ceremony held there from 16:45. Along a freely chosen route of roughly 150 kilometres, riders visit three checkpoints; a playing card is drawn at the start, the finish and at each checkpoint. The three best poker hands at the end of the day win. Participation is possible solo or in groups.
Support from the biking community
Alongside organiser B.A.C.A. Vindobona Chapter, the Austrian motorcycle community AMS Biker & Friends is among those taking part in the ride to raise awareness of child abuse and collect donations.
