Fellows Ride Franconian Switzerland – 2026

On September 19, 2026, the Fellows Ride takes place in Franconian Switzerland (Fränkische Schweiz), Bavaria. Under the motto “Ride with an open visor for depression awareness,” motorcyclists demonstrate to raise awareness about depression and reduce the suicide rate.
Franconian Switzerland in Upper Franconia is a scenic highland region between Bamberg, Bayreuth, and Erlangen, known for its dramatic rock formations, narrow valleys, and winding roads that make it one of Germany’s most popular motorcycling regions. The exact route and meeting point will be announced by the organizer.
What is the Fellows Ride?
The Fellows Ride is a charity motorcycle demonstration where riders take to the streets together for mental health and depression awareness. The initiative was founded by Dieter Schneider, Peter Grethler, and Karl Miller and has been growing since 2021, now taking place in more than 30 locations across Germany, Austria, Switzerland, Italy, Norway, Romania, the USA, and Portugal.
Participation is free. Net proceeds from voluntary donations go to regional projects and institutions supporting depression awareness, mental health, and suicide prevention.
How it works
Police accompany the demonstration and ensure a clear route. Detailed information about the start, finish, route, and specific charity purpose will be announced on the official event page and via the Fellows Ride newsletter as soon as they are confirmed.
