CIMAMotor – 2026

China’s Only State-Level Motorcycle Exhibition
The 24th CIMAMotor (China International Motorcycle Trade Exhibition) takes place from September 19 to 22, 2026, at the Chongqing International Expo Center. As the only state-level motorcycle exhibition in China and one of the largest two-wheeler trade fairs in the world, CIMAMotor has established itself as an indispensable platform for the international motorcycle industry since its founding in 2002. Under the theme “Leading the Development of the Industry, Creating a Better Future,” the fair brings together manufacturers, suppliers, dealers, and media from around the globe in the southwestern Chinese metropolis of Chongqing.
Exhibitors and Key Themes
CIMAMotor 2026 unites over 600 exhibitors from China and numerous other countries across more than 200,000 square meters of exhibition space. Alongside major Chinese manufacturers such as CFMoto, QJMotor, Zongshen, Lifan, Loncin, and Benelli, international brands also showcase their latest models. Key themes of the 24th edition include electric mobility and alternative powertrains, intelligent and connected vehicles, and large-displacement premium motorcycles — segments in which the Chinese motorcycle industry has made significant progress in recent years.
Supporting Program and New Launches
CIMAMotor is far more than a conventional trade fair: its extensive supporting program includes industry forums, technology conferences, motorcycle races, live performances, and a cultural festival celebrating two-wheeled passion. Numerous manufacturers use CIMAMotor as a stage for world premieres and new product launches. Test rides on the exhibition grounds and guided motorcycle tours through the spectacular mountainous landscape surrounding Chongqing round out the program.
Chongqing — China’s Motorcycle Capital
Chongqing is regarded as the historic center of China’s motorcycle industry. The metropolis of 32 million inhabitants at the confluence of the Yangtze and Jialing rivers is home to the headquarters of numerous major motorcycle manufacturers and suppliers. The city’s hilly topography and the expansive surrounding countryside with winding mountain roads make Chongqing an appealing destination for motorcyclists. The subtropical climate brings temperatures of around 25 to 30 degrees Celsius in September.
