Fellows Ride Main-Kinzig-Kreis 2026: Riding with Open Visors for Mental Health
On June 13, 2026, the Fellows Ride rolls through the Main-Kinzig district in Hesse, Germany, for the first time. The motorcycle demonstration for depression awareness starts and finishes at the Bürgerzentrum in Gründau-Lieblos, following a roughly 97-kilometer route through the rolling hills of the Hessian countryside via Wächtersbach and Bad Orb.
Schedule and Route
Participants gather from 9:30 AM at the parking area in front of the Bürgerzentrum Gründau-Lieblos. Coffee and pastries are available on arrival, with restrooms and nearby fuel stations. The convoy departs around 12:00 PM, with a riding time of approximately two and a half hours. The ride concludes around 3:30 PM with a closing rally at the Bürgerzentrum, featuring remarks from patron Landrat Thorsten Stolz and other speakers.
About the Fellows Ride
The Fellows Ride was founded by Dieter Schneider, Peter Grethler and Karl Miller, inspired by Australia’s Black Dog Ride. Since 2021, motorcycle demonstrations have been held in an ever-growing number of cities across Europe to raise awareness about depression and collect donations for regional mental health projects. The motto: “Riding with open visors for depression awareness.” Participation is free, with voluntary donations encouraged.
