Europe’s largest Harley-Davidson gathering returns to Cascais
From 18 to 21 June 2026, Cascais on the Portuguese Riviera will host the European H.O.G. Rally for the third time – the most important gathering of the Harley Owners Group in Europe. Following successful editions in 2012 and 2019, the event returns to the Atlantic coast, once again expecting thousands of Harley-Davidson riders from across Europe.
Four days of programming on the Atlantic coast
The programme spans four days and brings together everything that defines the Harley community: impressive motorcycle parades with thousands of bikes rolling through the streets of Cascais, live concerts on multiple stages, demo rides on current Harley-Davidson models, custom bike shows, a merchandise mile with riding gear and accessories, and a diverse food and beverage offering. Admission is free – the rally is open to all motorcycle enthusiasts.
Cascais – Portugal’s Riviera as the perfect backdrop
Cascais is located approximately 30 kilometres west of Lisbon where the River Tagus meets the Atlantic Ocean. The historic fishing village has evolved into one of Portugal’s most attractive coastal destinations without losing its original charm. The combination of marina, historic old town, seafront promenade and the dramatic coastline stretching to Cabo da Roca – the westernmost point of mainland Europe – makes Cascais an ideal base for motorcycle touring along the Portuguese coast.
Getting there and practical information
The nearest airport is Lisbon Humberto Delgado (LIS), approximately 30 minutes by road from Cascais. Riders travelling overland can reach Portugal via Spain – popular routes include the A1 motorway from Madrid or the Atlantic coast road via Porto. Ferry travellers can use Lisbon port (connections from various Mediterranean ports) or Santander in northern Spain. Accommodation should be booked early as the region sees high demand during the rally.
