Fellows Ride Tyrol – Charity Motorcycle Demonstration in Innsbruck

On July 11, 2026, the Fellows Ride rolls through the Tyrolean capital of Innsbruck, Austria. Under the motto ‘Ride with an open visor for depression awareness,’ motorcyclists demonstrate together for the reduction of suicide rates and for more support services for people in mental health crises. The Tyrolean edition is among the most emotional and scenically impressive stops on the Fellows Ride calendar, combining the passion for motorcycling with a clear social mission.

Schedule and Program

The day starts at 9:30 AM at Eduard-Wallnöfer-Platz (Landhausplatz) in front of the Tyrolean State Theater in the heart of Innsbruck’s historic old town. After the participants gather, there will be a communal exchange, the official opening ceremony, and a rally. The convoy then forms up and heads out together through the Tyrolean countryside – an impressive ride against the backdrop of the Alps.

The destination is the DEZ Innsbruck shopping center at the Coffeebar (Bleichenweg 18, 6020 Innsbruck). There, the ceremonial donation handover takes place before the day ends with live music by Dave Wildheart.

Charity Projects

The donations collected at the Fellows Ride Tyrol go to two regional organizations dedicated to mental health:

Helfen mit Herz (Help with Heart) – The initiative primarily supports children who have fallen into material, emotional, or personal hardship during or after an illness.

Förderverein Kinder und Jugend Psychiatrie (Friends of Child and Youth Psychiatry) – A charitable association supporting and promoting the mental health of children and adolescents at the Landeskrankenhaus Hall in Tyrol.

Participation

Every motorcycle enthusiast is welcome to join – it’s not about the brand, it’s about the common cause. All vehicles from 125cc and above can participate. Participation is free, with a voluntary donation of 15 euros per person recommended. Registration is available on the official Fellows Ride website.

About the Fellows Ride

The Fellows Ride was founded in 2021 by Dieter Schneider, Peter Grethler, and Karl Miller. Since then, it has expanded to an ever-growing number of cities across Germany, Austria, and Switzerland. These charity motorcycle demonstrations make a visible stand against the stigmatization of mental illness and raise funds for regional support services. The Depression-Inclusion Foundation by Thomas Lurz and Dieter Schneider coordinates the distribution of donations.
