Fellows Ride Darmstadt-Dieburg – 2026

Fellows Ride Darmstadt-Dieburg 2026 – Riding Together for Mental Health
On July 11, 2026, the Fellows Ride rolls through Darmstadt and the Darmstadt-Dieburg district. The charity motorcycle demonstration raises awareness for depression relief and mental health – under the motto “Open Visor”. Riders come together to draw attention to an issue that still carries significant stigma.
Schedule and Program
From 10:00 AM, participants gather at Friedensplatz in downtown Darmstadt. After the welcome address and opening rally, the motorcycle convoy departs at 12:00 PM with police escort. The group ride covers approximately 150 kilometers through the city and the Darmstadt-Dieburg district, with a break and intermediate rally along the route.
Around 4:30 PM, the convoy returns to Friedensplatz for the closing rally and donation handover. Throughout the day, various activities in cooperation with the Darmstädter Bündnis gegen Depression e.V. accompany the event along the route and at Friedensplatz.
Donation Recipient: Darmstädter Bündnis gegen Depression e.V.
All donations go to the Darmstädter Bündnis gegen Depression e.V. (Darmstadt Alliance Against Depression), which is dedicated to raising awareness, reducing stigma, and supporting people with depression in the region.
What is the Fellows Ride?
The Fellows Ride was founded in 2021 by Dieter Schneider, Peter Grethler, and Karl Miller in Würzburg, Germany. The initiative organizes motorcycle demonstrations in an ever-growing number of cities worldwide to raise awareness about depression and collect donations for regional mental health projects. In 2026, the Fellows Ride takes place at over 30 locations across Germany, Austria, Switzerland, Romania, and for the first time in India.
Participation and Donations
Participation in the Fellows Ride is free and open to all motorcyclists – regardless of brand, displacement, or riding experience. A voluntary donation is appreciated. All proceeds go directly to regional projects supporting people with depression.
Donations can be made via bank transfer to the Stiftung Depression-Inklusion von Thomas Lurz und Dieter Schneider (IBAN: DE85 7903 0001 1000 1905 00, reference: Fellows Ride) or via PayPal.
