Pirelli Emilia-Romagna Round – Misano 2026
From June 12 to 14, 2026, the Superbike World Championship returns to Misano World Circuit “Marco Simoncelli”. Round 7 of the season brings the field to Italy, to one of the most storied circuits on the WorldSBK calendar. The 4.226-kilometre track in the hinterland of the Adriatic coast is known as a demanding technical course with a balanced mix of fast direction changes, long acceleration zones and tight braking areas.
Circuit and Characteristics
Misano has been a permanent fixture on the Superbike World Championship calendar since the 2007 season, featuring 16 turns (10 right, 6 left) and a modern infrastructure package that has established it as one of the championship’s most important venues. The circuit was renamed in 2012 in honour of the late Italian racer Marco Simoncelli and today serves as both a WorldSBK and MotoGP venue. The fast Curvone, the long main straight and the tight Carro corner at the end of the lap demand a setup that combines mechanical grip with aerodynamic stability.
The Venue as a Travel Destination
The circuit is located between the seaside resorts of Rimini, Riccione and Cattolica, making it easily accessible for fans from across Europe. The nearest airport is Federico Fellini in Rimini (about 15 minutes by car), while those travelling via Bologna can take the A14 motorway. The region is renowned for its culinary diversity, beachfront promenades and proximity to the Republic of San Marino – a race weekend here can easily be combined with a short holiday.

The detailed session times for the Pirelli Emilia-Romagna Round 2026 will be published by Dorna WSBK Organization shortly before the event. The weekend follows the classic WorldSBK three-day format with Free Practice on Friday, Superpole and Race 1 on Saturday, and Warm-up, Superpole Race and Race 2 on Sunday.
