Valentino Rossi has been riding for the Petronas Sepang Racing Team (PSRT) in MotoGP since this season. In honor of this combination, PSRT and Ohvale have teamed up to launch a strictly limited edition version of the GP-0 mini bike.
Mini bike with great features
The base is the minibike with the 160cc single cylinder engine. However, on the PSRT GP-0, the engine has been transplanted into a slightly larger frame to accommodate larger riders. Completing the chassis is an Öhlins rear shock and a set of 10-inch wheels.
The wheels were fitted with slicks from Pirelli. To get them up to temperature, the minibike comes with matching tire warmers. Stands for front and rear are also included.
To be able to measure lap times on the race track (or rather the kart track), the digital Alano dashboard is GPS and Bluetooth -enabled.
The fenders of the standard version were exchanged for carbon copies on the special model. You can even spot carbon winglets on the fairing. Brake and clutch levers have been fitted with protectors.
No cheap toy
Of course, the most eye-catching feature is the Petronas paint job, which is black and aquamarine. This makes the mini bike look like a Yamaha M1 from MotoGP, albeit a size smaller.
The “toy”, which is limited to just 46 units, is not particularly cheap, however. The price is 9,600 euros or 11,690 USD. The mini bike can already be pre-ordered on Ohvale’s website, and delivery is planned for September 2021.
