- Five new European markets opened in 2025, including Poland, Finland, and Belgium
- Two unique S2 Alpinista custom bikes by Gas Monkey Garage and V-Twin Visionary unveiled
Harley-Davidson subsidiary LiveWire announced several pieces of news at the Mama Tried Motorcycle Show 2026 in Milwaukee. Alongside the premiere of two individually built custom bikes based on the S2 Alpinista, the company used the stage of one of the industry’s most influential custom shows to announce lower prices for the entire S2 lineup and further expansion in Europe. According to LiveWire, the event was intended to demonstrate that the brand is not only technologically innovative but also culturally relevant.

Two Custom Bikes Showcase the S2 Platform’s Potential
The two one-off builds presented at Mama Tried are based on the S2 Alpinista and come from two well-known names in the American custom scene. Richard Rawlings, known for his Gas Monkey Garage, and Jeff G. Holt of V-Twin Visionary each created their own interpretation of the electric platform. Both projects are intended to demonstrate the versatility of the S2 architecture and show that electric motorcycles have a place in custom culture.
Jon Bekefy, Head of Commercial at LiveWire, commented on the collaboration: “LiveWire thanks Richard and Jeff for pouring their considerable talent, creativity, and attention to detail into the S2 Alpinista custom bikes. Their willingness to push boundaries in electric bike customization speaks not only to their vision as customizers but also to where the EV movement itself is heading.”
A behind-the-scenes look at both builds is available on the Gas Monkey Garage YouTube channel and on Jeff G. Holt’s Instagram account.

Reduced Prices for the Entire S2 Model Range
Together with the custom premieres, LiveWire announced a reduction in manufacturer’s suggested retail prices for the complete S2 product lineup. The company aims to make its electric motorcycles accessible to a broader range of buyers. The updated prices for Germany and Switzerland at a glance:
S2 Alpinista: 13,280 euros (approximately 15,405 USD) / 11,290 CHF
S2 Mulholland: 12,290 euros (approximately 14,260 USD) / 10,290 CHF
S2 Del Mar: 12,290 euros (approximately 14,260 USD) / 10,290 CHF
LiveWire One: 19,890 euros (approximately 23,070 USD) / 19,490 CHF
The 2026 S2 models are expected to be available worldwide and should arrive at European dealers from April.
European Expansion with Five New Markets
LiveWire’s presence in Europe has grown significantly over the past year. In 2025, five new markets were added: Poland, Finland, Belgium, Portugal, and Luxembourg. This expands the company’s existing presence in France, Germany, Spain, Italy, Switzerland, the Netherlands, and the United Kingdom. Together, these markets are said to form one of the most comprehensive distribution networks for electric motorcycles in Europe.
With the continuation of S2 deliveries in spring 2026, LiveWire aims to provide more riders with direct access to the brand. The expansion of the dealer network is also intended to increase visibility in emerging EV regions.
Outlook: S4 Honcho Minibike in Preparation
In addition to the S2 platform, LiveWire has announced the upcoming launch of the S4 Honcho minibikes. Details about this model are not yet known, but the company underlines its intention to expand the portfolio beyond the existing S2 range and the flagship LiveWire One. With lower entry prices, a growing European dealer network, and new models in the pipeline, LiveWire is positioning itself for a broader audience without abandoning its connection to custom culture and its own brand identity.
