With the V100 Mandello Wind Tunnel, Moto Guzzi presents a special model that bridges the gap between technical innovation and classic brand DNA. This edition marks the 70th anniversary of the company’s own wind tunnel in Mandello del Lario, Italy, a true icon in motorcycle history. Since 1954, the aerodynamics and technology of motorcycles have been refined there – long before modern CFD analyses became commonplace in the industry.
The Moto Guzzi Stelvio marks a new era in the adventure touring segment and combines an unmistakable design with advanced aerodynamics based on extensive wind tunnel testing. Its centerpiece, the revolutionary 90° transverse V-twin engine, delivers 115 hp (84.6 kW) and innovative solutions for unique riding performance, while modern assistance systems such as 4D imaging radar technology ensure increased safety.
Idyllic Mandello del Lario was transformed into motorcycle heaven when Moto Guzzi held its annual Open House, breaking all records in the process. The shining jewel of the event was the surprise unveiling of the Moto Guzzi V7 Stone Corsa, a motorcycle that combines retro and modern with exclusive design features.
Some 2023 models of the Moto Guzzi V100 Mandello are at risk of rear shock absorber failure.
After Moto Guzzi already had the logo and name for the upcoming V850X protected last year, documents for type approval have now surfaced.
The two Moto Guzzi models V7 and V85 TT will also be offered in new colors in 2022.
At EICMA, Moto Guzzi unveiled the V100 Mandello and revealed a bit more about the interesting crossover bike, which features the Piaggio Group’s first water-cooled V2.
Moto Guzzi will present the upcoming V100 Mandello at the EICMA. They already offer a first taste in a first video, the V100 Mandello will have electrically adjustable aerodynamics.
Moto Guzzi recalls the V85 TT from 2021 because the valves must be replaced. According to the manufacturer, they do not meet quality specifications.
