Extended availability for Europe
The Ténéré 700 Explore is already available in Germany, France and Italy. However, the 2024 version will now also be available in other countries. However, it is not clear from the (German) press release exactly which countries these will be.
On a discovery tour with the Ténéré 700 Explore
With its comfort-oriented design, the Ténéré 700 Explore reflects the versatility and adaptability of the Ténéré series. The low seat height of just 860 mm makes it easier to get on and off the bike and ensures improved control and handling. The generous windshield, a quickshifter for fast upshifting without a clutch and standard side case mounts make this motorcycle a suitable companion for long journeys.
Design and technology – new features of the Ténéré 700 Explore
The special graphics and the gold-coloured anodized aluminium wheels, which underline the robust design, are certainly among the most striking new features. The Ténéré 700 Explore is also equipped with a 43 mm KYB telescopic fork with 190 mm suspension travel and a hand-wheel adjustable rear shock absorber with 180 mm suspension travel, both 20 mm less than the standard Ténéré 700 model, which contributes to the lower seat height.
Customization and style
In addition to the technical features, Yamaha offers a wide range of original accessories to customize the motorcycle. Both kits and individual parts are available and can be ordered and fitted directly from the Yamaha partner before taking delivery of the motorcycle. Yamaha’s motorcycle clothing collection has also been specially developed for adventure bikes and includes weatherproof jackets and pants as well as leisure wear for fans of the brand.
Pricing and market launch
The Ténéré 700 Explore in the Tech Kamo colorway will be available from German Yamaha dealers from January 2024. The price is yet to be announced.
