- Carl Cox is ambassador for the Mannin Cancers Support Group
- Charity auction as part of the TT on May 29, 2026
- 15 detailed model motorcycles featuring iconic TT moments
The 2026 Tourist Trophy is receiving prominent support away from the racing action. Carl Cox will be the official ambassador for the Mannin Cancers Support Group, the official charity partner of the Isle of Man TT for 2025 and 2026. His involvement is part of the Wheelie Good Cause fundraising campaign, which raises money for people affected by cancer on the island.

New role at the 2026 Tourist Trophy
Carl Cox has been closely associated with the TT for many years. In addition to his international career as a DJ, he is also present in the paddock with Carl Cox Motorsport and supports, among others, the most successful TT rider of all time. For the 2026 TT, he will now take on another role: Cox will act as an official ambassador at charity events and actively support the fundraising project.
The Mannin Cancers Support Group is the official charity partner of the TT and supports those affected by cancer and their families on the Isle of Man. The funds raised will go directly to support services on the island.
Wheelie Good Cause and the TT Legends Auction
A central part of the fundraising campaign is the Mannin Bikes TT Legends Auction. This will take place on Friday, May 29, 2026, during the Tourist Trophy. A total of 15 elaborately crafted model motorcycles will be auctioned off during the event.
Each model represents an iconic moment in TT history. The selection ranges from Mike Hailwood’s Ducati NCR900SS to the Yamaha R6 on which Michael Dunlop achieved his 29th TT victory. This model also bears the Carl Cox Motorsport logo. All models are based on the original race liveries and the helmets of the respective riders.
In addition to Dunlop, other well-known names from TT history are also represented, including John McGuinness and Joey Dunlop. The models were already on public display during the Classic TT, where they could be viewed up close.

Personal motivation and commitment
Carl Cox describes his new role as a matter close to his heart. He said:
“I am honored and very proud to have been asked to be an ambassador. It’s a cause very close to my heart, and having lost family and friends over the years to cancer, I am looking forward to supporting the wonderful volunteers at Mannin Cancers in raising much-needed funds to support the battle against cancer in the Isle of Man.”
This statement makes it clear that his commitment stems not only from his long-standing connection to the TT, but also from personal experience.
Support from the Mannin Cancers Support Group
The organization also views the collaboration positively. Chairwoman Julie Stokes emphasizes the importance of the partnership and points to Cox’s longstanding connection to the Tourist Trophy. He visited the model motorcycle exhibition during the 2025 TT and learned about the project.
The auction is open to the public. Interested parties can register their interest in tickets in advance. All proceeds from the auction will go entirely to the work of the Mannin Cancers Support Group.
Tourist Trophy 2026 dates
The 2026 Tourist Trophy begins on Monday, May 25, and ends on Saturday, June 6. It traditionally concludes with the Milwaukee Senior TT over six laps. The TT Legends auction is scheduled for May 29, 2026, and is thus firmly integrated into the event schedule.
