- Winner of the FIM Superbike World Championship
- A total of 169 victories and 242 additional podium finishes worldwide
- Twelve additional titles won by BMW riders in international and national series
After an already strong previous year, BMW Motorrad Motorsport was able to further improve its results in 2025. Top results were achieved worldwide in both factory and customer racing. The BMW M 1000 RR once again formed the technical basis for numerous successes in Superbike, Superstock, and Road Racing.

Title defense in the Superbike World Championship
The focus of the season was the FIM Superbike World Championship, where Toprak Razgatlioglu impressively defended his rider title. The Turkish factory rider once again prevailed with the BMW M 1000 RR of the ROKiT BMW Motorrad WorldSBK Team and secured the world championship. With 21 victories from 36 races, he underlined the competitiveness of the motorcycle at the highest international level.
Beyond WorldSBK, BMW riders were even more successful in 2025 than in the previous year. BMW riders stood on the podium a total of 411 times, 169 of which were at the top. A further 242 placings were in second or third place. This significantly exceeded the previous year’s figures.
Strong results in factory and customer racing
In addition to the Superbike World Championship, endurance racing also played a central role. In the FIM Endurance World Championship, the BMW Motorrad World Endurance Team was on course for the title until shortly before the end of the season finale. However, a technical defect prevented them from winning the world championship. Nevertheless, their performance showed that BMW is also competitive in endurance racing and should fight for the title again in the future.
In customer racing, private teams and riders achieved numerous successes. Top results were consistently achieved in various championships around the globe. The close cooperation between factory teams, the test team, and the development department should contribute to the racing version of the BMW M 1000 RR being regarded worldwide as a solid and powerful basis.
