Largest displacement in the Royal Enfield portfolio
With the Himalayan 750, Royal Enfield would add the largest displacement production motorcycle to its lineup to date. The model has already been spotted several times in India and internationally during test drives, indicating that development is at an advanced stage. The machine is based on a new 750 cc platform and is to be positioned as a sporty tourer.
Frame, chassis, and equipment
According to sightings, the Himalayan 750 has a newly designed frame with a separate subframe. The chassis consists of an upside-down fork at the front and a monoshock at the rear. It is assumed that adjustable suspension could be used.
With a 19-inch front wheel, the Himalayan 750 is clearly not aimed at the classic adventure sector, but rather at the sport touring sector. Tubeless-compatible spoked wheels are likely for the production model.
Royal Enfield is expected to offer a high level of equipment. Among other things, the following are expected:
- TFT color display with Bluetooth connectivity and navigation
- Cruise control
- Additional comfort and touring features
Engine and performance
The Himalayan 750 will be powered by a new 750 cc twin-cylinder engine, presumably an enlarged version of the familiar 650 cc engine. The power is estimated at over 50 hp (36.8 kW), with torque expected to be around 60 Nm. Official figures are not yet available.
Market launch and price
Although the Himalayan 750 is expected to make its world debut at EICMA 2025, it could be launched in India before going on sale internationally. The Indian price is estimated at around 400,000 rupees, which is equivalent to around €4,400 or $4,800.
