Gaokin, the parent company of Brixton, has announced the GK1000 Thor, a high-displacement cruiser for the Chinese market. The model could also make it to the European market as a Brixton.
New engine
The GK1000 Thor is powered by a 997cc V-twin. 88.5 hp at 7,200 rpm is specified as maximum output. 95 Nm are available at 6,000 rpm. The cylinders have an arrangement of 80 degrees.
Good equipment
Braking is by J.Juan radial calipers and Bosch ABS. In addition, there should be several driving modes and cruise control. With the damping components one helped oneself with KYB. Whether the upside-down fork will be adjustable is currently still unclear. The rear shock is adjustable in preload and rebound. The display can be coupled with the smartphone.
